Anyone know how to make small ship macs use the conveyor system? The ammo won't pass through any size conveyors at all.

I have no clue what lines to change in the mod itself to enable this

hell yeah! im super excited that you got back into the scene again and have been waiting for something similar to your mod come along. just nothing really has. though i do hope WeaponCore gets multiplayer compatibility

Wardog: Actually I've given some juicy models to Spacebar that he aims to do something with. The UNSC ones have the most potential at the moment, I'll try to get more out of him but he definitely wants to do stuff with it now that we have the WeaponCore

so as i've discovered the macs still work but they fire about 15 (large) blocks through a target before they explode not to sure why but it means they only really work as AP rounds against larger ships right now

No luck on the PC, but I've been hard at work with the basic models for the new weapons, nearing completion of the basics for the UNSC and I'll work on textures and stuff like that next. If need be, I'll give the project over to someone else to finish, all this hard work won't be for nothing

There won't be an update, but I will release a separate mod. I'm starting to work out some of the smaller details that I can do without my PC until I get a new one.

Right, this mod was so placeholder and I had no concept of how to balance the guns at all except for fire rate and damage. The new SMAC will have the highest fire rate (although will still only fire at about 6 rpm with the second highest, the Mk. II Frigate MAC being 3) but will be the most expensive for parts, be the biggest (thus harder to fit on anything not designed to carry it) and be a power-hungry monster.

The new MACs will be balanced with different sizes, power requirements, materials (I'll add two unique materials "electromagnetic coils" for the guns and "depleted uranium" for the projectiles) damage, range, ROF, etc.

I'll have a new PC in a couple weeks and I might have some help to get the guns made, as well as at least the basic Covie and UNSC weapons. Current plan is the four food groups: MACs, Archers, Energy Projectors, Point Defense (for both sides).

Just an FYI, Supermacs actually have the highest refire rate of all UNSC capital scale MACs. The highest ROF is about 12 rounds a minute, or one every 5 seconds. They have the juice to maintain that ROF because of massive groundside generators beaming power up to them.

Possibly. And it still works, basically, it's just no longer maintained and hopefully the new guns will exceed these ones in all aspects.

FYI, now have found it under weapons in the G menu. Look for the miniature Halo ship silhouettes on a white backgrounds!

Thank you. I tried searching for 'halo' and found nothing. I selected the weapons folder on the left of the G menu and sadly can't see it anywhere. Really want the small ship version on my tank!! :)

Try looking up individual guns with the search bar. The thumbnails may not work anymore (I'll look into it later.)

you could also contact other modders... cause what space engineers is lacking is BIG weapons

(reads the devs reasons for such small weapons) attainable technology my ass. we already have military lasers and a railgun. so what happened to that tech in this game XD

Yeah that makes sense; I think they just disapear. Damn shame -- I really enjoyed this mod, was the centerpeice of my Halo In Amber Clad...literally heh.
