Same problem as my predecessor. Frustrating.
Nice parcours, but no puzzle at all.
Btw what's the circle symboled pedestral button for in the end???

Fun map. Some of the mechanics (cube landing, etc) seemed to require several tries (luck) to get the desired results.

I can only guess you some how had an older copy of the map, because when I updated it, I also closed the gap so you can not get a portal behind that glass, but thanks for the feedback.

I experienced the same problem as Ravenscaur today : the companion cube hit the ceiling and land before the platform. After many tries, same solution : I portalled to place the cube correctly.
But it's still a very fun map :)

Ok, so I played through that section a couple of times and I think I ran into your problem. Looks like the cube can land in such a way that the beams don't put it on the plate correctly. This should be fairly easy to fix. That is the problem you were experiencing, correct?

1:58.73. The cube wouldn't hit the faithplate. At 1:54 to 1:55 you can see said vertice.

Just so I can be sure I have the right location, can you watch the walkthrough video and tell me the spot (min and secs) where my cube reached the problem you were having and I will see what I can do about it.

At the conjuction of the orange and blue beams, the cube would not fall onto the platform correctly. After twelve tries, I just portalled through the split between the glass frames, and set the cube where it belonged.
Perhaps a set of angled walls below the conjunction, to make sure the cube falls where it ought?

"AGC|Quarks @ no sound" is right. Apparently you modified this recently and broke it. I got to the point where two blue funnels and one orange funnel all grab the cube at once and are supposed to drop it on an aerial fait plate when time runs out, Most of the time the cube misses the faith plate, and when it does hit it it doesn't fly far enough.

theres a bug with the three tractor beams and the flipper i don't work! no chance for me to solve it

Awwwww www, I love the Companion Cube! It was nice that we didn't have to throw it into a fire, even though we sadly had to rid ourselves of my favorite Companion. :( But I guess that was required...
Great job. You incorporated oodles of fun into this, which I thouroughly enjoy. And it's the Companion Cube. What's not to love?

If you don't go through that first laser field while you can, there's no way to get it to go down again unless you restart by killing yourself off.

Well, my friend found a robot voice from AT&T that can be made to sound exactly like GLaDOS. We may try it out in a test, see how it goes. But I do like the ingenuity of using lines from Portal 1. At first I did think you had made your own lines.

Yes, I have considered it, but haven't found one that I feel is good enough. This map was an expirment toward that since I included lines from Portal 1 in it.

Nice map, though I generally don't like maps where you reach a point where you have to kill yourself and start again. That would never happen in a Valve map.

I've tried a few of ur games. Very good idea's and concept. I really like ur ideas alot. Try my game called "Button Complex". You'll like that one and I think you'll get idea's from it. And I have a few others to. Some are lengthy though.

lostil - That is why there are tractor beams that will reset the jump and fix the landing, if it missed the mark, just hit the button to pull it back for another jump, and if it lands without hitting the laser, the big button will recenter the cube. Even if it falls off, there is a button that will move the platform out of the way so the cube can be pulled up.

I have to add this, pretty serious exploit. I suggest making the panels of the floor and the ceiling all black tiles. Why? I portaled through and could skip most parts of the puzzle and jump around with the cube. Hopefully this was helpful.
