Fun question: The new DLC adds a whole new set of terrains and such. Should I try to aim for fluffies to make sense for the new places?

Good news - the way that ReGrowth Core adjusts/creates the Rabbits? This mod should affect them as well. You might have to load this mod before it in the mod order, but should work.

OK, so, the real and useful answer:

Hares have a few things about them that drive their reproduction rate in base game:
- a cooldown between mating attempts to become pregnant (8 hour cooldown before trying again)
- a Gestation Period from start of to end of carrying a litter (about 5½ days)
- a range of possible litter sizes, which is roughly 1-3, weighted towards 2 (sorta)

This mod replaces those values with
- 0.1 hours between "try again"
- gestation trimmed to 4½ (anything less gets into Tribbles territory)
- a range of litter sizes, 5-9, weighted towards 6-7.

lol, yeap! Add either of the Fluffies mod I have (which are giant rabbits, so this mod applies) and you'll have 10k meat and leather before you can blink 😄

Just be aware that if Fluffies go manhunter early on, it's also no joke. They're fast (and pack animals).

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this mod is no joke. I've got an autoslaughter rule of max 20 snowhares and every 5 minutes my colonists go on a stabbing spree to just kill all them rabbits.

Yup. All hares/rabbits in the core game implement a thing called "BaseHare", so this mod will affect all of them.

lol i used this + that wild sex mod set to max settings and it wasnt long befor the map was swarming with rabbits and there was no grass left and the game started to slow down haha

It's a little tricky to follow, but basically it's using the nifty Patching logic. In A17, he added support to override ThingDef values if you can describe the path correctly.

I didn't edit any files, but in your steamapps folder, under [steamapps\workshop\content\294100\741102402\Patches] you can find the only real file the mod has, BreedTweak.xml.

For the syntax, the wiki is a little light on this, but if you search "rimworld zhentar patchoperations", there's a pretty decent breakdown.
