You're welcome Sir, and I hope you enjoy the mod
You're welcome, thanks a lot for the feedback, and glad to hear it still works fine even through major patches. I'll release a small update in the near future
Hey, thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed it :)
It's up to date as far as I know. Did I miss some feature Paradox added or something?
@Alan Dżambalaja
It's a free internet, you, and others, may do as you want.
Thanks again for your support
@Tramvai ITB V3A-C pe linia 101
It's good to see the public transport people caring about the infrastructure being up to date, a very sensible concern. NE should be perfectly playable and up to date with all HoI IV 1.10-versions currently, so you can just jump straight in as is. If I'm missing something specific for instance with the Balkan focus trees please tell me and I'll take a look at it.
Thanks again.
@ϟMobitekϟ
Heh. I will say that the generic tree buffs I've given to later DLC countries may be overwritten by the newer trees Paradox have added, so Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey for instance will not get the generic tree buffs, as they now will have their own focus trees overwrite that if using the new DLC. I don't find this a big issue as the new trees are generally good, though for older, less impressive stuff such as the DoD focus trees I have added additional features/buffs to focus trees and/or ideas still.
In short, think of this as a mod that lifts the baseline quality of the gameplay, rather than add tons to the best focus trees and countries that already have plenty of interesting stuff.
It was my pleasure and privilege to make it, thank you yourself
Thanks you so much for the praise. It means a lot considering all the generic focus tree remakes that have been made and still are being made.
Absolutely, compatibility has been one of the major focuses for this mod ever since the 0.9.2 update, as I realized many people like to play with many mods at once, and I could save myself a lot of work on updating after new Paradox releases by keeping things simple when and where possible.
Yup, it's just been released. Enjoy :)
I'm probably planning on updating this after my next semi-large Balkans Ablaze update has been finished. NE is not the highest priority now, since, while it may say it's for the previous version and the warning can be off-putting for some, it's actually fully compatible and playable in the newest HoI IV version right now. I went through the files. The only thing that's missing are some minor improvements Paradox made to Italy's focus tree, but I'll just add those along with some content when the time comes. As for now, you can just go ahead and load up the mod if you so please, no issues to be had (apart from the launcher "warning").
Not gonna lie, the update might be a while, as real life takes precedence, but I hope the "old" version can last you guys a few weeks/months more, thanks :)
Some focuses are faster, yes. There's also two new industry focuses, three new Austria-Hungary related focuses, a new rearmament idea to replace the temporary "Secret Rearmament" idea, more potent research bonuses, more cores (and some claims upgraded to cores), better checks for when focuses are bypassed so you don't lose potential cores and claims, and some quality of life stuff such as Soviet's losing their claims on states you'd want if you align with them. That should cover the main additions at least.
There's specially made decisions to switch already, though (based on the ones Paradox have for the other three ideologies). Did you mean for civil wars as opposed to referendum? That I didn't add yet. Maybe the main reason it's harder to switch is that there aren't any advisors to help out, but the existing decisions are a little stronger than the base game equivalents for the other ideologies. Is there a specific decision you're missing? If so I'll look into adding it.
For the time being though, your suggestion for people to get Monachism on the Rise to help out with switching isn't bad for those who want to speed up their transition into a non-aligned/traditional state.
I did at one point buff the decisions to switch to non-aligned, since it was horribly time consuming back when the non-aligned branch was initially added. But indeed I've heard feedback that it's still very slow, so indeed I'll likely buff them again. A combination of "Discredit Government" and raiding the other ideologies you don't want to switch to can speed it up, but it's horribly expensive on the political power.
I'll see what I can do for the next update, it was already on my list, and even more so now, in any case. Thanks for the feedback.
@cowboydirtydan
And thanks to you too, for helping out. Improved Non-Aligned should help a lot too, even more so before the next NE update is out.
No problem. Great to hear you got it working.
That's strange indeed. It should be listed as just Nationalism Extended. In any case, you can try unsubscribing, and then resubscribing to the mod after it's done with the unsubscribing.
Yup, absolutely. Of course if you play with the MtG-focus trees you won't get the generic tree stuff I added for the Netherlands and Mexico (though there may be some decisions for the Netherlands), but I still recommend going with MtG enabled as those focus trees are damn good. Also this mod still applies for all the other countries that still use the generic focus tree, and for some of the DoD focus trees.
