Report a translation problem
1.- Can you improve the brightness, FPS (NATO: 30 FPS / US: 60 FPS) and the location of the IR strobe beam?
2.- Can you remove the IR strobe schedule to be able to use it at all times?

Sure thing. If you want to get it working with Ace I'm sure there are more than a few people who would appreciate it. If you do get it working and up on the workshop let me know here please. That way I can send anyone asking about it your way.
Sorry, I have no plans on making an ace compatible version as Ace has built in functionality to attach an IR strobe already. Some people have asked that question in the past because they don't like where they placed it or that it requires the device to be in your inventory, but those are issues that can be addressed with the Ace team.
I personally don't use Ace so I don't even know what compatibility issues there are between them.
Hey sorry to hear you're having issues getting it to work. First thing to check is if you're playing on an addon map, some map creators don't add the time checks that the default maps have. If you're playing on a default map then the issue may be with the helmet. If it's an addon helmet or one that was added to the game via DLC or update since 2016 it won't trigger. You can try my No Helmet Req version to see if it fixes your problem.
No problem, I though someone had already asked that question and when I looked and saw it was you it made me laugh because it'd been so long ago that you forgot. Glad you're still getting use out of this old mod.
You already asked that question back in 2017. Client side only means it's not required to be on the server, everyone will see the strobe even if they don't have the addon.
Yes. It uses the games default IR Strobe. The addon just gives you an action which attaches the default strobe affect to your headgear.

Yeah it does. Updated the description above. So many addons req it that I fotgot to list it here. Thanks for the heads up.
I will try the other version but this version feels more "immersive" for units with the correct helmets and I wanted to see if we can add other correct looking helmets to the list. Maybe you can make a whitelist in the userconfig to allow this in the future so users can add to it? TY again.
ACE 3 currently has a built in helmet mounted IR strobe so there is no need for me to add this version to it. If you are wanting to use my version of the IR strobe with head gear from other mods, you should grab my CJTF No Helmet Req IR Strobe version here on the workshop. It allows the use of the functions with all headgear. I created that version spacificly for people wanting to utilize the mod with headgear outside the base game.
Not using this addon, you can get IR strobes on AI by using scripting though. You can do a google search for "BI Forums IR grenade attached to units" to see an example of how that works. Hope that info helps.
