Amazing music, couldn't fit the game more and even more, on its own is great to listen to. Would it be possible to for the videos you have on youtube with the full soundtracks have their watch time shown? Just out of interest and see what people listen to most. Hmm.. I've been wondering, I have a few different music mods but I keep hearing the same few songs on loop, and I think they're from this mod. But I have a mod to disable the vanilla music, and I should be hearing like 70+ other songs

when people say this music is better than the base games music, theyre correct, no bs. this music is fantastic.

Best mod on the workshop. After even a couple dozen hours the vanilla music can get repetitive, but every single P-Music track I've heard is incredible, I think I like them better than the vanilla soundtrack. it would be awesome to see these tracks added into the vanilla game, though I have no idea how that would work.

I must say this blends in with the game fantastically, kudos! this is an amazing mod.

Oh, and since I'm already here :), I want to join others in saying that this is a great mod.

@Peppsen: I got a reaction from a dev and reportedly it's an old mistake in the non-Windows path (apparently Windows and non-Windows RW have different code for handling audio). All music files larger than 300KiB are meant to be streamed. Hopefully that means it'll get fixed somewhen soon.

Tested it myself and it didn't change my RAM usage at all, seems like it's mainly a Linux issue then. Thanks for the mod though!

Oh god, why are they uncompressed in memory.. They really should be set to streaming. Not something I have access to in XML, I don't think? Would be nice if Load Type could be defined in the XML. I can add it in the description as the less RAM usage is really important.

Using this mod makes my game start ~15 seconds longer (almost 1/3 of the total startup, with 150 mods), and the game uses 2GiB RAM more. I have written a mod that avoids that problem: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3385243195 . I play RimWorld on Linux, and it appears this problem possibly does not exist with the Windows version of the game for whatever reason, although that has not been so far confirmed by anyone actually using Windows. Still, I think it might be a good idea to mention that in the mod description (@Peppsen).

I realized I didn't have this in my newest run, quickly added it, started playing, and thought it wasn't working properly because I didn't hear any new tracks! Lo and behold, all of these are so ingrained in my core Rimworld memory that I thought it was all vanilla. Absolutely top tier.

I was looking for the Rimworld soundtrack on Spotify when I stumbled across your album (s), several years back when I initially was into Rimworld.

I've been listening to it on heavy rotation even though I haven't touched the game in 5 years, and am now coming back to playing the game. Took me a while to find the mod, and finally installed it today. Hooray!

Original mod creator is not active anymore but a kind soul has updated it to 1.5. Haven't tested it myself though, might be buggy.
