IngSoc literally means English Socialism

Ing = English Soc = Socialism

It's amazing how people can make statements about IngSoc having not even read the book

but ingsoc is not at all socialist, it is fascist. serously, that's one of the main points of the book. i know they have "soc" in their name, but people and political parties lie. the manufactured arch-enemy of ingsoc was considered a socialist or communist. ingosc is mosley's pary, and big brother is mosley.
