Loved playing this mod and Networked AI back in the day,,, well that sounds like it's ancient but really it's only been a few years ago. The game was great fun back then before the devs started gutting the game because they couldn't/wouldn't figure out how to balance different aspects of it.

Why is Paradox obligated to inform someone who made a Mod before the release of playable Robots that they were going to make playable Robots?

Lol, Paradox basically broke their own promise's to mod author's again when the released Robots as DLC, and making a free feature with a mod into paid DLC. If this mod author tried to continue the mod, they would have hit him with a ciese and desist, or just out-right deleted the mod due to Steam Terms of Service.

So no, this mod will not be updated. This thing is a relic of a forgotten time, and is also old news.

I just wish Paradox had informed the poor bastard before their release to not waste the mod author's time.
