Is this mod compatible with Structure Memory Optimizations??

You should have kept going, this is a great mod. There are a lot of things missing that could be added. Sorry that you left it, but glad you made as much as you did!

I like the mod, but to be honest I only download it to get the wood "Trim" piece. I hate the unfinished look of vanilla in some spots, so your trim piece does the trick. Is there a way to get just the trim piece as a mod?

This mod did so many things right, and it did them before anyone else. And there's still things only in this mod yet to be replicated elsewhere.

@Oblexive I came here from time to time, because this is an incredible mod and I was so much interested about it being taken by someone else, and you made it Open Source not so long ago, so dream came true in a certain way. I so much want to continue/fork the mod myself, but sadly I don't have the knowledge about all that 3D part of modding (I'm a website programmer tho, so the logic is okay I think lol)
However, I've read what you said on the previous comments page and I'm so sorry for your loss..
And yes, we still support your work for that long because, well, it's one of the best, and still one of the most subbed mod. You can be proud of what you did there with your dad. Stay strong, and take care of yourself.

This is still functioning, correct? I'm sorry for your loss, I understand it all too well. I've been away from ARK for a bout a year, but will soon be launching a new private cluster, and as always wanted to include this mod. I hope it continues in some form, it was innovative. You can see bits and pieces that were done first in this appear in things like S+ and even Vanilla ARK afterwards as it was realized the idea done here first were so good. The variety of doors is reason enough to love this.

As Ansgar mentioned, I'm no longer supporting this mod. Sorry about that! It's open source now so hopefully someone does something with it.

I would be keen to see what people do with it. You guys let me know if someone does pick up where I left off.

BTW ... I find that the double door frames make handy supports for upper-level decks and ceilings in place of pillars.

it seems that discord link may have expired, does anyone know if the server is still active? I was moderately curious about why the cage mod suddenly got deleted when it was fully functional :c but I see some stuff may be going on. also the wall acs (one i got naturally the others i spawned since they weren't showing up to be crafted) don't seem to work at all. they show up as powered, but my insulation isn't changed.

i'm confused. i made some wall fridges and ac yesterday, today i go to make more and i can't find them... they were in the ea crafting station right? there's no 'electric' folder (anymore?) and searching 'wall' just brought up the vault and nothing else... i'm very confused

I am grateful for the support even though it's probably well undeserved after the lack of effort put in but now that I have managed to some-what sort through the mod files and what not. Hopefully I'll be able to start regular updates again.

@Oblexive, I've been an ardent fan of your mod from the very early days and so was quite excited to see an update today! The information you shared about its history with your dad was touching. I've experienced what I imagine may be similar events in my life, so I empathize with your feelings about it all. For what it's worth...the mod your dad and you created together has brought a measure of enjoyment, modest as it might be, to the lives of many people, most of whom are strangers to you both. In the overall perspective of life and death, some might not recognize the full value of that at first glance. But I think it speaks to a generosity of spirit which is a trait worthy of the best of humanity. And I submit that that is a very admirable legacy for your father. Whatever you decide for the future of your mod, many thanks to you both for creating it.

Re-downloading ARK and Dev kit now so I can confirm the source files and hopefully make them public for someone else to pickup. This is going to take some time but you guys have waited this long right? :/

hope you update this mod sometime sorry to hear what happened i really liked playing with this mod back in the day having troubles with alot of old mods tho being i havent had my pc in two years and idk whats working and restarted my world a bunch of times already and now looking through everything and just removing old stuff, sad i have to remove this one. if it gets updated ill be happily adding it back to my game

Arh the half rails in EA just got broken :( All my halfrails i have on my server have lost textures, i tried making new but they also have lost textures! Damn! Was the only half rails i know of ! Sux! And im guessing there wont be a fix, since the last update was 3 year ago :/ Loved using those railing! Anyone know another mod that add's half railing ?

it is one of the better mods for the game, it just needs some love to catch up to the game's changes
you can see bits and pieces of things done in this mod first show up in other mods since, but this still does them better and did them first
I do hope this mod gets some attention and updates again

You just make the cage you want, then place it where you want. Then you opn door and put whatever person or dino that will fit in it.Then close door.

Is there a guide or something anywhere that describes what the cages do/how to use them? Are they just like walls or fences or do they have special properties?
