i have been making a Javik the Prothean ( or should we say Trollean ) head mod, half way done now. i know i said i wouldn't be making any more mods, then i figured javik and asari is the same thing, only easier, coz prothean has large bulbous heads no clipping issues, might as well get it done, and this is before i knew about the invisible head mod. so now i'm gonna fix the asari mod first, then release the prothean head mod some time later!!
and yes, now i can shrink the head mesh a bit to reduce neck clipping now. gonna fix it by tomorrow!! WOOT!!
And an invisible head means this mesh can probably be shrunk a little, to help reduce the (not actually small) clipping. It's least noticeable on the Frog trooper armor for me, though I've only tried the head with ballistic tier armor so far.
btw if you guys want some readily available asari armor model and some weapons models check out this guys's youtube video, he has the entire asari adept head and body model in it ( this is where i got the source material ) and also a bunch of weapon models: Avenger assault rifle, Predator pistol, Claymore and Katana shotguns. download link is in his youtube video description. Here is his youtube video address:

file format is in .c4d, you will need Cinema 4D software to open it.
if you guys want to do an asari body armor mod, easiest way is to treat the entire body as a torso armor piece, then make the arms and legs pieces blank. just like how the excellent Frog Trooper armor mod did it : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=641364603

Guessing getting facial animation to map up is a lot more work.
On the bright side if you decide to mod in Krogans you'll pretty much just need to resize the helmeted mutons.
btw not sure if you know , check out the newly released playable advent mod on workshop ( the latest version ) , in which you can play as muton and mec as squadmates . so coupled with wrex , grunt and legion voice packs, you can have those squadmates in game now too!
yeah hopefully we can have stuff like turian armor set or mass effect weapons in the future!!
and I second the hope others bring in mass effect armor/ helmets ;)
