Thats no Springfield!! (cheap Mauser rip off!). That, my friend, is a true Aussie classic, the Lee Enfield (No.4 Mk2, in beautiful Canadian light Beech stock). Australia loves and is rightly proud of this classic longarm, designed by a scottsman for a U.S company, adopted and redesigned by British manufacturers, firing a copy of an Italian cartridge and lovingly made in North America. Whilst never widely issued to Australian troops, this rifle still represents the zenith of bolt action military rifle development. The Lee Enfield action locks on close, making it super fast so perhaps better from the hip than other sniper rifles. (How about an optional Grenade Launcher?)....... I LOVE IT!!!!
