but yeah, paradox ruins any game. they wanna be take2/ea/ubi.
hate that CO seems to be fine with it, they shouldve split off for the new game.
That's why e.g. Adobe doesn't touch things which are already taken care of by plugin developers. Many of those were Adobe employees themselves. They do respect the people which make their software kind of whole.
I do like modding and I did like CS, but with the DLC bloat I don't care any more. It's not a city builder, it's just a franchise with a store front. To support all DLCs, I'd have to buy them. No gifts or donations yet.
I started working on this mod 2016, and there's not much real content to keep me playing, just the same mechanics over and over again packed in 5-15 $ DLCs.

"Many users have taken to social media, along with the Steam page for Cities: Skylines itself to voice their displeasure over yet another launcher being added by Paradox, complete with new User Agreements that everyone will need to accept in order to continue playing the title that is now five years old."
"In Section 3, Article IV, the new End-User License Agreement seems to outlaw modding the game;"
No interest in supporting a company which censors customers voices and warms up boring DLC crap just for the sake of making money.
The Plus mod only uses an alternative, overly bloated naming scheme for no reason. No idea what's else was changed and what issues may rise.
Just a minor issue: Everytime after i load a game, i have to toggle the options to disable arrows which point in all directions (left-right or left-straight-right) off and on again in order for them to take effect.
If the mod dev want's to do bugtesting with me, feel free to contact me and I'll gladly help.

@Crispy1961 !!ARTxolotl: Road arrows should be consistent with the next version, fixed.
Details:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at RoadsUnitedCore3.RUCore.SetNodeDirect (RoadsUnitedCore3.Statics.NodeSet,string
Could this be an incompatibility?
DirectoryNotFoundException: Directory 'W:\Games\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\598151121\BaseTextures' not found.
When I uncheck and recheck them, they disappear until I close the game and launch again, when we are back at the start, with arrows visible, yet checkboxes checked.
As a side note, the new 3.0 is great, I can change the road color in real time.
