First off I LOVE this mod and have used it extensively to make a more PVE style game in both single and multiplayer. Even making pasting in my own spawning stations to create a "Fleet in a box"

That said, I am experiencing an oddity: On planerts the atmo based ships spwn and fight properly. In space however none of the ships that spawn remain stationary. Even things like the cerbreus just don't move. Is this because of some A.I. update? Or something that has broken on my end (this has happened before) And is anyone else experience this?

We have this on a non-dedi Server and we don't encounter any pirates, even if we have Antennas and Stuff, anything we do wrong or does this mod need configuration and if so how?

@Sgt.Ritz Crackerz - I know, I feel bad because I do like SE and I know there is a need for mods like this. This was really just a personal project I made for myself since it didn't exist anywhere else and I decided to share it. But updates constantly broke it (back then they were breaking mods with weekly updates) and I was spending more time fixing my mod than playing the game. I understand SE has come a long way since I took a break. But I'm now very leery about modding for early access games. So I'm going to wait until we get that 1.0 release and then I will consider a revisit. :)

As long as the creator gives his permission and you still give him credit for what he did there is no problem with a new dev updating and maintaining an existing mod.

@FloppyDolphins the dev owes you nothing and owes no one else anything either. Not wanting to work on it does not mean he has to hand over his creative work to others. You are really showing a level of entitlement that I don't expect to see once someone reaches 10 years old.

It seems a lot of the ships spawned by the IMDC are older variants... and the ones i have encounterd dont move, and once i hack them i cant fly them, even after completely breaking down the control seat and replacing it. any chance of updating to the newer v ariants of the ships? or fixing other issues? @Nomad

Something has definitely changed and I no longer believe that it is due to the mod. I run several dedicated servers. The one that has been running the longest is vanilla and pirates spawn just fine.

On my newest server I noticed pirates were not spawning with or without this mod. After some testing with each of the antenna definitions, I found that simply disabling drones, cargo ships, and encounters seems to be the fix.

I did the following steps:
1. Stop the dedicated server
2. Disable drones, cargo ships, and encounters
3. Start the server
4. Remove all spawned entities using Space Master
5. After allowing the server to run for about 20 minutes, stop the server
6. Enable drones, cargo ships, and encounters
7. Start the server

After doing this, pirates now started spawning on my new dedicated server.

Im having an issue where the ships spawned arent moving... Any idea why?
I am using Piratres and Cargo ships and Corruption PVE mods alongside it.

Hi Nomad, I believe your mod is no longer functioning after the last update. I am using the Vanilla pirate bases to spawn them in as usual however only the original game ships seem to be spawning.

I think they can occur within that range just not in any gravity. I believe that range was for cargo ships though it's been a long time since I really played much SE and the game constantly changes so I'm not certain.

Okay cool, So the same rules apply that the ecounters do not happen in a certain radius (100km i think) from a planet?

They spawn as encounters yes. Which depends on your world settings and seed etc.

Also try verifying local game cache in case files are corrupted.

no, i tried it by itself, though i have been having issues with other mods/scripts im chaling it up to a bug and playing vanilla till next update then re-enabling this (must have) mod after verify my game cache

MY game has been going loopy ever since beta i think i could be bugged becaouse if i have any mods, it screws up the SPRT Spawning... .-.

Yea you have to be within a certain range of a vanilla cargo ship, planetary base, or space station for ships to spawn. Or by Argentavis' stealth drones detecting you. I can clarify if needed.

Mod definitely works. It should be noted, however, that IMDC warships only seem to appear if an IMDC station spawns and is attacked. I require further further testing to confirm whether or not this is true.

..Perhaps a version using the recent good quality weapon pack that's appeared on the workshop?
