I slapped the quantum drive module onto the back of thing and I can't figure out what is wrong but when I activate the timer and engage the gravity drive it just does extremely tight loop-de-loops. I have tried disabling all the gravity generators on both ships beforehand but it just gives the same result. I even tried rotating the module around to make sure it was in right. Also I no longer have any air in the ship on my survival world and wanted to know if the air for the interior is only supplied by oxygen generators and the tanks and farms on the quantum module can't help even if attached.

I absolutely LOVE this ship. I have used the Refinery module from the Calypso and the the new Gravoid Miner from the Calypso MK 3 on it as well. It looks really cool all set up. I was currious if we might see an update to it as well. This is by far my Favorite ship off the workshop.

Awesome thank you

@Musica - Yes you have permission to edit this blueprint. I would like to see your modified version. :D
Musica Jul 8, 2018 @ 4:22pm
Can I have permission to edit this blueprint?

@Maha, I'm assuming you mean the pegasus is damaging the Chrysaor? I usually set up a group for rear facing thrusters and turn them off when I dock so that they don't burn the ship.
Maha Mar 1, 2018 @ 10:48am
cool, but the thrusters damage the ship... You need to build with thrusters dammage to test your build

@Boz Easily my favorite ship. One issue i did notice with it though were power requirements. I nearly lost the ship when attacked by pirates after a jump. The small reactors just dont deliver enough juice to all the jump drives to recharge fast enough, AND trying to run away. I rectified this by building a pair of hydrogen nacelles that also housed a large reactor each. Maybe for the newer version, swap one or two of the small reactors with a large? Also, a good script to add to this ship would be TIM. Would really take this gem of an exporation ship/mobile base to the next level.

@moshpit, just reverse the connections and add a conveyor to whichever side you change

The refining module from the Calypso MKII doesnt fit because the merge block and the connector are the other way around :/ Is there are seperate refining module to fit on the Pegasus Chrysaor? Or what is supposed to fit in the large docking bay in the back?
Spacewolf2 Sep 29, 2017 @ 8:53pm
can we get a sneak peak at the new ship?
Boz  [author] Sep 29, 2017 @ 4:55pm
@Coren, Thank you. Im glad you like the ship I would be interested in some feed back. Im building a new version of this and would love some input.
Coren Sep 27, 2017 @ 4:06pm
My absolute favorite concept of ship design. Nesting the ship together to act as one or seperately is refreshing and enjoyable to play and build. How did you go about making the ships? what inspired you?
nargekimari Sep 11, 2017 @ 1:36pm
So far I love this ship. The modularity of it gives serious prospects for mustomization. I'm actually about to start working on a pair of reactor pods to merge on the sides of the either the Pegasus or the Chrysaor, maybe even figure out a way to tweak the Calypso grav drive module. :D
Spacewolf2 Jul 19, 2017 @ 8:40am
seeing as you've referenced greek mythology with these two, would you consider either a bigger 'mothership' or a shipyard? you could call it Medusa...
Boz  [author] Jun 12, 2017 @ 2:58pm
Thank you, the rear connection was supposed to use the same rear module as the Calypso.
「♯SwordxSaint」 Jun 9, 2017 @ 5:01pm
This is amazing. I love the craftsmanship. Was there an idea for the aft connector? If you could leave a little more about the ship and what you envisioned would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! I have been dissconnected from the net for months. I'm thrilled to hear people are still enjoying my ships. Find me on steam and I'll show you a new one I started working on.

This ship is a work of art, Boz. Thank you for sharing it!
Spiderpk7 Oct 6, 2016 @ 9:22pm

awesome job
Garith Jul 5, 2016 @ 9:41pm
ok, after spawning one in creative i don'r think i want to xD
Garith Jul 5, 2016 @ 9:00pm
am i able to sub the Pegasus for the Mk II verson?
Superagent66 Apr 1, 2016 @ 10:49am
So i love this ship, like more than anything on the Workshop. Knowing that, I would love to actually figure out how one seperates the ships. Can someone give me a detailed description on how to do that?
MrHohenheim Mar 24, 2016 @ 11:59am
I like this ship :) i created 3d model for .. https://skfb.ly/M9GY
jokerace45 Mar 15, 2016 @ 1:16pm
Hotkeys on toolbar for Turrrets and Welders are non functional. What is the purpose of the four grav gens set at a side angle on the exterior of the main hanger and in between the Pegasus ? There grav field range is very specific and narrow ?
Boz  [author] Mar 9, 2016 @ 1:15pm
only the nose section is designed to enter and exit the atmosphere
BORDER OF PURGATORY Mar 8, 2016 @ 11:44pm
the ship no longer flies in the atmosphere, it cant fight the gravity and falls
mmille14 Feb 27, 2016 @ 8:33am
@Boz
Ah, got it.
Boz  [author] Feb 26, 2016 @ 2:45pm
@mmille14 - Originally those where installed to grind down and rebuild the ramps on the Pegasus that allow access to its hangar bay. Otherwise those ramps get in the way of the two ships merging. When the ships are seperated the welders and grinders also provide a place to do some construction in the empty front bay using the Chrysaors supplies
mmille14 Feb 26, 2016 @ 8:41am
It is brilliant what you do with just the vanilla parts.
Question.
There are 2 grinders and 2 welders above the lower cockpit where the 2 ships join. They are facing each other and only a block apart. In what situation would those be useful?

mmille14 Feb 25, 2016 @ 2:30pm
MIC DROP!!!
Guinevere Feb 16, 2016 @ 12:46pm
This is a masterpiece!
CantAimForShit Feb 15, 2016 @ 8:51am
Can you build small ships thatll fit in the calypso?
Please
gfrannic Feb 11, 2016 @ 1:34am
I get the feeling you got some more designs just waiting to be build.
Do you also have some ideas for a station or a wheeled vehicle or just ships for now?
Boz  [author] Feb 10, 2016 @ 9:34am
came up with a new interpalanetary shuttle based off the Pegasus frame much lighter and more effeicent. I removed the hangar bay from the new design. The dropable base may come in a different design now.
gfrannic Feb 10, 2016 @ 9:28am
How is tho drip-able base pod going?
Still working on it?
Robby Magnus Jan 31, 2016 @ 6:34am
i still remember when you gave me that tour of this thing, Its still awesome!:steamhappy:
Delta99 Jan 28, 2016 @ 7:06pm
This is a great ship or ships I suppose. Really like how you've created the joining of these ships. Really stellar work here.
Boz  [author] Jan 27, 2016 @ 12:30pm
This ship is now oxygen sealed. Hangar doors are programmed, and high traffic interior doors are all automated with sensors.
Quizitor Jan 27, 2016 @ 4:20am
Ive had similar problems with pressurization, however; it was my batteries allowing oxygen to leak past so I sealed them in with glass. Personally ive never had a problem with windows not pressurizing properly.
gfrannic Jan 23, 2016 @ 3:27am
When this ship is polished it will be your your best ship yet i think.
(Assuming polishing will be door sensors, buttons, naming of blocks like the second drop pod etc. and pressurizing if the game will let you)
Boz  [author] Jan 22, 2016 @ 1:23pm
A lot of the rooms wont pressurize because of glass, and Im working on why the hangar bays wont pressurize either.
TheSkagra2 Jan 22, 2016 @ 12:55pm
Just a thing:
One of the rooms on the Crysaor wont pressurise, because of a piece of glass.
