Is it possible to edit some file to change the number of seconds a door will auto close, like instead of the basis 8 seconds, ajust it to 3 seconds?

@Max I'll tell you why I didn't just use the mute function... I didn't notice it in the patch notes lol. :P I'll have to give that a try at some point. Not sure how the heck I missed it, I normally always check the notes when a mod updates. Thanks :)

Did you guys ever try the mute function, it works fine, I tested it on my server. It was added on Jan 24th according to patch notes and in the description above as well, why not just use that?

Yeah that'd be handy if he can't fix the range bug. I've had to stop using my remote because my tribe mates were getting annoyed by the super loud beeping. :(

please make a option for disable the bep sound serverside for all.

We've noticed that for some reason the 'beep' when you use this now seems to play super loudly on all other clients in visual range when in MP. It doesn't sound any louder to the person using it. Not sure when this started exactly but when we last played a couple of months ago it didn't happen.

So i did a test with 254.2 and everything seems to work fine. Previous versions of 254 had an issue with mods in general. Please make sure to update your server to the latest version!

@Whereiswaldo: Is the server on version 254.2 already? If so can you provide a crashlog?

If you pull the remote on with the new update it will crash your server

Just a small request! We really need to be able to disable the sounds server side as everyone nearby is blasted with a very loud high pitch sound every time someone uses it..
Having each person muting it every time they pick it up doesn't quite work if there are too many trolls :D

Hey! Im preparing a long overdue update for the mod. I know i already promised that a while ago. I actually did most of the work back then but i didn't get to test the many changes thoroughly in a live environment and then got distraced by other things.
There's probably a few things i need to change due to new systems that got added to ark over the time but im on it!

Yes it works now! Opened several doors and gates, no crashes.

Can someone check if the latest ark patch fixed the crash? Can't test it myself at the moment.

Same issue here as PAL-18. Client crashes for anyone who pulls out a remote control to use.

Critical Bug: The new September 1st update (v 246.0), whenever i use the remote on any door my client crashes.

01/09/2016 - It dont works me, in other server this mod allways runs. Dont know why the mod dont work in my new server.

suggestion. maybe adding a keypad remote. for turning light/turret/window and more on and off.

There weren't oppening doors while mounted, but ive checked now and its working.

It isn't working with a Gate Mod, ARK DOORS - mod id: 643684973.
