The optics don't make too much sense, they should be able to be zeroed to 800 but most of them can't even be zeroed to 600m. If that got fixed it would be nice.

The reload animation for the G36V does not work like the other G36s where your guy pulls out the magazine, loads a new one, and then pulls back on the charging handle.

Bugs with dual optics.
1. By default, on g36 it has 3.5 3d dual optic, this breaks the balance because the player can remove 1.5 sight and get better optic.
2. On full hd monitors, the line on dual 1.5 2d scopes is so thin that it stops drawing.

I just tried out the g36a1 and noticed the charms got added but it lost the ability to mount flashlight and laser sight even though the rails still appear on the sides of the barrel guard when a charm is mounted to the receiver.

Did you remove them from being able to use flash light laser sight or is mine just bugging out somehow?

I am a big fan of the G 36 and I wish you could fix / improve the sight of the G36A weapon (G36 export optic 1.5 and 3.5), you cannot use the night vision or thermal on it, (which is illogical as it enters she and the night vision there is a large space and there is line of vision and it is not a sniper sight either) it would be more realistic that 1.5 and 3.5 were only 1, like the others you look at, 1.5 when you press right click and 3.5 when you leave it pressed (That is only zoom since in the battles there are times that the combat is closed and other times you need more zoom) something that is not very necessary but if very "nice" that the look where it is seen is more detailed, and not seen rectangular, I would very much appreciate if you did it: D

@LexPL: All MLI variants can currently only, feed from "sand" -coloured 6.5mm magazines, and not the 'black'-coloured 6.5mm magazines as of yet, due to the new magazine proxy function, and the magazine wells feature. So it isn't a bug, as its using the 'sand' 6.5mm magazine variant. To further prove this, as said before switch the different magazines on an MX (between black, sand, and khaki I believe).

Thats not a bug on the MLI variants. Go have a look at the magic that is happening when you switch between different magazines on an MX.

I congratulate you on this great mod, we had them in special operations and the truth is that for our group of G.O.E in weapon 3 we have them, could you add in the next update the new handguards CNC RAS G-36? and the folding stock?

its meant to use 5.56 but it uses the 6.5 but also takes the 7.62 suppressor

Apparently, I cant use RHS GL rounds with my G36s, even when I have the RHS compatability mod installed. I've raised my concern on the G36 RHS compatability mod comment section but the author has not addressed my concerns.

a point about the reload animation where you simply push a button on the magazine well instead of using the charging handle
the point where you push the thumb against is not for closing the bolt, its a simple pushpin to hold the magazine well to the rifle

Yes, it does, and the G36s take advantage of it. 36Cs have noticably slower MVs than full length 36s

Thank you that's really useful, we'll probably continue with the EPR rounds. Although I'm curious, does arma actually model muzzle velocity? Will a shot coming out a G36 as apposed to a G36K do more damage? Or will it affect just the bullets trajectory? Also there is a small thing that slightly bugs me, on the dual optic scope, there is a switch with a 1 and 0, the markings look quite low resolution compared to the rest of the gun which looks really good, not sure if you can do anything about that, but hi res text usually makes things look great. Nonetheless me and my friends are all using your G36 rifles as our standard rifle in our multiplayer sessions. Thanks for making this.

EPR/FMJ(or ball) are your standard infantry round, which is kind of all round performance, at the detriment of being not THE best at everything. Penetrates armor decent, performs alright at standard rifleman ranges, but stilll wounds well enough.

SBLR- that's your Mk 262. It's specialty ammo designed for maximising lethal range, generally at the expense of armor capabilities. Generally it goes faster but retains it's damage on unarmoured targets longer. Armor it doesn't do great against however.

"SOST" - The other Speciality round, except it's generally designed for up close and maximising damage out of shorter guns. As such, they're kind of devestating up close on anything without armor (more so than FMJ). At range, that devestating effect drops off rapidly though, and armor (especially Class 4) can almost jsut shrug off the shots. ALMOST.

@chunkinator - So espeically if NATO ammo it's really breaks down into 3 basic categories: FMJ/EPR, SBLR, and "SOST". Before I break them down, it's probably just worth saying that if you don't know what you're up against or have specific needs, EPR or FMJ is pretty much your best bet.

@Maverick Blackout - did look into it, but without sticking you with just one Red dot, or going overboard with duplicates, there wasn't a way to let you still use the main optic, so I dropped it. It may come back of there's ever a reasonable way to do it, you'll know when that is, because it will be done.
