And BEFORE someone tells me "Just use 81 tiles 2", I've tried it... And using it is causing me to have the "Policies Menu no longer shows" bug. For. Every. Save. Even brand-new saves.

If people check the options on the 81 tiles 2 1.0.2.2 - Unlocks all 81 area tiles mod by alernon there is a option to do away with the need of powerlines and waterlines. just look in game under content manager.

I've just updated it to work better with the latest update.
The 81 tiles mod (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2862121823) doesn't work with this one since it offers the exact same functionality so you should use the option in the 81 tiles mod rather than this mod.

@BOTEnd_Secure Because 81 Tiles 2 has a custom electricity simulation (required to implement electricity transmission outside of the 25 tile area), and this mod doesn't recognise or support that expanded electricity simulation - which is perfectly reasonable. The patches to the game applied by both mods conflict with each other.

Instead, it's on 81 Tiles 2 to implement its own no-need-for-powerlines functionality, which it does. So there's no need for this mod to change anything, and anybody using 81 Tiles 2 who wants the same functionality can just enable the option in 81 Tiles 2.

but, if you already use a remove Need For Power Lines mods in the save, this mod make an infinite array index out of range error.

do you know if there's a mod that does the inverse? I want to always have to use power lines, and for buildings to not spread power to nearby buildings.

this Mod isn't working for the update yet, i take it i will soon, it is the only mod i'm using out of many still not working :-)

njp.sero, it's a conflict with something else. I'm using this still, and the pipe counterpart. No issues.

I've been using this mod since I started playing Cities: Skylines but about a week ago my game would crash every time I tried to open it and told me to verify my game files. I tried doing that but it didn't work and I play on a Mac so I knew it wasn't a C++ issue. I uninstalled the game and unsubscribed from all my mods and assets and slowly started introducing ones back in. As I was adding mods back, this was the one that triggered the crashing again.

I don't know how to get a link to the log file but if someone could tell me how I will link it. This is a really useful mod and it sucks that its not working for me so suddenly.... does anyone know any other mods like this or anything I can do to get the mod working again?

I think this was just an issue for my game but if anyone else has issue with all the vanilla assets not lighting up during night I had to deactivate this mod for it to work again so I could actually see my city at night. I think this mod is terrific but it was making my game bug out too much.

Thank you for this mod! I love city builders, but power and water lines are just needless busy-work . There's no planning to them, really. And they dont' cost enough to worry about in terms of budget. It's just something have to do. And with power lines you have to clean up after people move in.
