Hey all.

Original OKI Weapons mod is now back online, fixed, rewamped, remodelled and rebalanced:

Thanks to all the people who kept the mod running and fixed with the many reuploads and rebalances.

PLEASE NOTE: This particular reupload is based on OKI Tank / Mech weapons, which are not present in the OKI Bundle. There are vehicle turrets for small grids much resemling tank weapons, but they use new IDs.

fixed guns broken. They simple do not shoot. May be KEEN issue.

Yupp, definately. The latest update has made most of my mods depracted, and thusly, would require a lot of work to make useable again. With that being said, all our mods are considered free game for ripping - and out of any support by us. If we come back, which is an even bigger if after Keen made us bury 6 servers already, we will start fresh.

Okim's old mod is completely gone nowadays. So if anyone else tried to use these models from here in an attempt to do a temporary update, would you let them?

Has not been worked on. Spengies is still not sustainable in multiplayer, and thus, my hiatus continues. Sorry.

I dont know whether or not this has been worked on, but I have tried using them on my own game and they crash the game when I select "control" from the UI. Specifically, the 23mm chain turret.

I should finally get on with my weapons mega pack, I guess.

Maybe I get that sorted over the week. No guarantees, as I am actually somewhat busy these days. When I had my longest modding streak, I was in between jobs, so loadsafreetime. But, yeah. You're right. These weapons are quite something, and deserve to be revived. It may be that they are fucked, though. The models and methods used to make them are quite old, and there might be missing dummies, or incorrectly placed dummies - in that case, I might not be able to do much with them, since I do not have the source files.

I'll look into it.

Ok. Well that makes sense. Hopefully Space Engineers heads in a good direction. I was playing today and the only thing I could do for fun was turn a bunch of the stuff i downloaded and created into pirates and attack it so I guess I see where you're coming from. (In some sort of way: You're right its not that fun at the moment)

Fuze, it's not the mod that is on hiatus, but me. All my mods have this warning, because I gave up on Spengies. I am observing from afar, and I am not happy with the state of the game yet. Stable branch is a step in the right direction, but as long as the game crumbles into a horrid, viscose mess as soon as you try to multiplayer anything of tangible size, I won't have fun with it. And as one should regards freetime, if it isn't fun, maybe one shouldn't do it.

(I forgot to mention that I put that comment there cos I'm getting a "critical error" message in my debug menu [F11] I know that sounds a bit seflish, I admit, but if I'm getting them on the stable branch then others must be too and I know nothing about Coding so I wouldn't be able update it or anything like that so others can use it.)

Also I meant game breaking updates are about every two months. I don't know if bug fixes and updates will break the mods. Feel free to correct me if I' wrong though.

I'm pretty sure you would have already seen the stable branch/dev branch update but I'm putting this comment here anyway:

I know this mod is currently on hiatus, but since the stable branch release I thought it might be okay to drop the hiatus now that the updates will only be once every two months or so, (or so I speculate.) I don't know it's up to you, just though it would be okay now. Anyway thanks for the mod either way. :)

@Data1chi: since he's not saying anything about it, this is all pure conjecture. At least a few others have been kind enough to upload copies of his weapons mod, so the community still has access to them... assuming they have the wits to go look, rather than just rage about it (like some no doubt will/have/are).

@Data1chi: How should I know? Maybe he's fed up with Keen breaking mods with every update, and ragequit, and just deleted all his stuff rather than face a horde of frustrated players demanding/begging for updates every week. Understandable, but other modders put warnings in their description saying the mod is not being updated anymore, rather than outright deleting them all and leaving the entire community screwed.

@Ace61519: there are a handful of copies on the workshop that will plug the gap, assuming Okim is withdrawing from SE modding permanently, and employing a little scorched-earth policy. Jerk move of him, though, considering how popular that mod was & still is.

@Rodrick: Some more info would be nice. Do you get an error? As you may see from the comments, you seem to be rather alone in this, which makes me assume user error.

Since you can toggle both aiming and idle movements in every turret, there is no point to putting "no AI" variants into any pack. Just turn them off.

Why work on AI / non-AI versions when it is only required to turn off the Idle Movement?

Actually, the 50mm burst-fire cannon only fires 4 rounds per volley, not 5.
