On your harddrive navigate to the steam directory, then go to Steam -> Steamapps -> Common -> SpaceEngineers -> Content -> Data. Open the file "CubeBlocks.sbc" with your notepad and search for JumpDrive. (Ctrl+F for search) Scroll down a few lines and you will see: "<RequiredPowerInput>32</RequiredPowerInput>". Change the 32 to whatever you like, higher value = faster charge.

How can it be done? I don't play multiplayer anyway at least until it gets fixed so I dont mind that.

It is but it would only be on your client, so it wouldn't work in multiplayer unless you make it a mod.

Is it possible to change the charge time for vanilla jump drives by allowing them to consume more power?
