(2/2) But I got subscribed to RICO revisited back again, i did not put its xml files back - and it still holds plenty of information for other assets that i changed. I have no idea where it stores that information - I haven't found it yet. I guess deleting that local asset i had before removing the settings from RICO might have caused an issue. Possibly.

grrr... i unsubscribed, deleted them, subscribed back again... still importing :D I can't believe my "luck" :steamfacepalm:

I think i've managed it now... it seems that RICO kept settings for that asset i created out of your coal mine (and kept in local files before deleting it once i discovered you made an update) - where i corrected its class but also tinkered with population in Realistic pop mod, and some local settings for RICO, where i was changing service and sub-service and some more... Removing both mods did nothing; removing their xml files did nothing either - only changing Realistic Pop beta to the standard mod from last year gave results, it cleared for example settings for having 24 employees :)

Might also be worth deleting them and letting new ones spawn in. I just did another longer test and they are extractors now. They only spawn on ore ground, they produce raw ore and ship it to ore processors, they never import, and then despawn when I remove the ore under them. Just like the other 4x4 ore extractor.

@macluk: Hmm, it was producing ore and shipping it to the ore processors for me. And the AI in the editor is listed as extractor as well. Can I get you to unsubscribe it, wait for Steam to remove it, then subscribe to it again? There's been some issues with Steam this week, so maybe it didn't update properly.

Avanya... it is not fixed yet, I'm afraid. It's still importing ore and it is still in level 1 :(

Or if you still have mesh and textures and you're simply re-importing into asset editor... use maybe Ore 4x4 extractor template.

I can confirm that this is not working as an extractor. It is a Level 1 processor so receives ore rather than producing it. Looks great so i hope it gets fixed ... the game is short on ore extractors!

Hi Avanya.
I just discovered that this asset is actually an extractor and not a processor - been wondering why i had such a large import of ore when i had no processors, or so I thought.
Also Find It mod confirms that - it's placed in level as a level 1 and not 2.
I just been able to correct it in Asset Editor and have it as a local asset and it works correctly now.
Would you be able to update this one as well?

I found little issues with the edges, even on uneven terrain. Even then, a few rock props were enough. Really like the depth the pit, suits very well with mining visual. thanks for sharing this awesome creation :)

Nope, no oil stuff in the works. If you're curious to see what I'm up to, my patreon is prob the best place to go. I post WIP pictures and talk about what's next there, though I haven't had much time lately, so there's been less updates than usually. :)

@St4Lk3r: That's because it's a growable. It doesn't show up in any menus without mods. It will spawn if you zone ore industry somewhere.

Any chance of making this RICO compatible or making an entirely new one for RICO? You don't have any ore/coal rico stuff from what I can tell. Would be a pleasure to have at least the pit be a bit bigger.
