obsolete now, as LCD screens are now a part of all cockpits.
Kham Aug 27, 2017 @ 5:06pm
I've uploaded a version which fixes most of the major bugs and adds a couple of new LCD options.

Is this can run in 2017? Pls update :'(
Kham Jul 14, 2017 @ 9:11am
@HappySushi is there any chance you'd be willing to share your original files for this mod (specifically any fbx models for importing to Blender) so I could try and fix up some of the most broken parts to get it updated? I'd send you the files to update this mod if you want, or post it separately with all credits to you and a link to this page, whichever you prefer. This is the only small ship cockpit I use and it'd be a real loss to the game if it falls out of working condition.

@[~FTI~] Joakkino[ITA] The cockpit textures still work for you? After 1.180.1, they completely broke for me.
Joakkino [ITA] May 5, 2017 @ 7:50am
IMPORTANT EDIT:
If you wanna use this mod in abandoned status, you have to:
1) remove it from the active mod list, load savegame and save it;
2) go back to main menu, put the mod back and load game.
It has some issues like ALL UPPER LCDs make the game crash (CTD) and if you go a bit far and look at the cockpit, it will become violet colored; if you go near again, it comes back to the original color.

HappySushi, I hope you will be back soon with this mod <3
Joakkino [ITA] May 4, 2017 @ 4:25pm
Edit after some checks:
Game wont load anymore at current 1.180 game version (and prev ver too); once removed the mod, your cockpits simply disappears and game loads up fine.
Again, i try to play SE without this mod, but i feel so sad. It will miss so much :(
Joakkino [ITA] May 3, 2017 @ 4:51pm
Quote Kham.
This is still one of the best and most useful mod in SE. It's a big pity you decided to abandone it. I hope with all my essence that one day you wanna bring it up again, making lots of us happy.
This is a MUST HAVE mod in my mod list. Idk how could i do without it now....
Anyway, I think this has corrupted my savegame; but i'm glad i used it untill now.
If only this could work: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY :D :D :D
Kham Apr 13, 2017 @ 8:39am
I still love this mod, it's the only cockpit mod I can't live without so thanks for leaving it up. The only issue is with the LODs which, personally, I can live with.
HappySushi  [author] Apr 13, 2017 @ 3:03am
Guys, my mods abandoned for a long time already, coz I lost interest in SE.
I kept mods here, so you could use it, until game updates broke them.
There won't be any updates or fixes.
Sourly ( っ '๐')つ Apr 12, 2017 @ 4:33am
Only if you are about 60 meters away from the object. When the texture becomes completely pink. Please change this ...: D
Quantum Maniac Apr 6, 2017 @ 7:04pm
@iDare I have the same issue, kinda breaks immersion
Lance Apr 5, 2017 @ 6:17pm
I figured out what is causing the crashes. The last update must have changed the range of allowed values for "TextureAspectRadio". Lowering the value from 3 to 2 in the two top center LCDs fixes the issue, although you will have to adjust the font size in-game afterwards.
Comrade Felix Mar 30, 2017 @ 11:53am
I'm also getting crashes. Immediately after I rename an LCD cockpit module with [LCD] so that it's recognized by Automatic LCDs 2, the game will crash.
Onslaught5000 Mar 19, 2017 @ 1:27pm
Hello anyone having probelms with this mod after Thrusdays update? After the update my game will crash if this mod is enable. If i look at any cockpit using this mod the game will crash. I really like this mod, so all my small ships are build around it.
Delebre Jan 24, 2017 @ 12:10pm
LOD model problem I suppose
Delebre Jan 24, 2017 @ 12:10pm
Does for me too.
iDare Jan 19, 2017 @ 4:44am
Am i the only one whos cockpit turns violet when you move further from the ship?
iDare Jan 13, 2017 @ 3:37pm
hm.... how can i add items to toolbar? it seems that when i press G it opens all items menu? i cant add added camera to toolbar in ship. It doesnt even show groups....
Razen Jan 12, 2017 @ 9:57am
seems to be working fine for me. TIM script displays fine on lcd's and oxygen interior keeping me breathing. :steamhappy:

BTW im on 169_006 dev
Sad_Brother Jan 6, 2017 @ 11:07pm
Kind of. Try it.
Asher Jan 6, 2017 @ 6:19pm
dose this work in latest beta update?
Taurec Jan 5, 2017 @ 12:18pm
See the orange Markers on the Symbols. They show you, where you must attach the moduls on the Cockpit. :)
iDare Jan 5, 2017 @ 3:22am
So i add base + interior trunk + LCDs? I'll check it. hope it works! :)
Sad_Brother Jan 5, 2017 @ 3:05am
Not. You should put both and add screens/block to your like
iDare Jan 5, 2017 @ 2:26am
When I put cockpit base and I sit in it, it’s just empty – like a passenger seat and if I put interior trunk inside, it’s just like a normal cockpit  am I doing something wrong?
Marc Cassin Dec 12, 2016 @ 6:45am
@Dr Novikov : where did you post your solution for the glass problem ? ^^ I'd like a workaround to get rid of the blue/green tint :/
Kham Nov 14, 2016 @ 7:17am
Well it's not really "dead" as it still works pefectly fine. It's just not being updated any more, probably because he's stopped playing Space Engineers, and I can't really blame him for that. Everybody needs a break once in a while.
Absolarix Nov 14, 2016 @ 2:51am
Pretty sure it's dead. The last time it was updated was on the 20th of November, 2015. A year ago.
Eviltek2099 Nov 13, 2016 @ 8:04am
Is this a dead mod? Please don't be dead, I love it! nothing else like it! BUT the green tent to the glass is too much (also commented on by "Dr. Novikov") and it hasent been updated for a year.
Shroom Oct 18, 2016 @ 1:41pm
@Dog Yes but the performance impact may be severe.
Cherry Oct 18, 2016 @ 1:28pm
Does this game not have support for reflective glass?
Dr. Novikov Oct 18, 2016 @ 8:12am
There are "test" files in the texture folder, they are like 12+ megabytes, and I am not sure if they are even used. Also, posted my solution for the glass problem.
Dr. Novikov Oct 18, 2016 @ 6:37am
For some reason the windows are quite opaque and green-ish. Hard to see through. Here is a screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=783090560
Kham Sep 25, 2016 @ 5:03am
Kind of like this http://i.imgur.com/WZAoLjD.jpg
Kham Sep 25, 2016 @ 4:58am
@Vas not if you want it to use images as representation. If you use CAL then you still can, just use echo commands to push one of the commands down far enough that it goes on to the second screen.
Vas Sep 24, 2016 @ 8:57pm
I was hoping to have a power script one on one screen and a hydrogen script run in the other. Guess that can't be done.
Kham Sep 21, 2016 @ 10:04am
Yeah as Sad_Brother said, the right hand display is essentially the bottom half of the left hand display. Very handy when using cargo scripts as it can spread down more so you can use a more legible font size.
Sad_Brother Sep 21, 2016 @ 9:52am
"2 in one" has one screen divided to show each half as full screen.
Fill screen with some text and you will see.
Vas Sep 20, 2016 @ 7:55pm
Also, in the "2 in one", how do I program the second LCD on the right side to do anything?
Vas Sep 20, 2016 @ 7:26pm
Just a thought, a battery upgrade instead of oxygen/storage. So you can add a battery to your cockpit, like my flat batteries in my battery mod. Obviously yours would be balanced with the game's batteries. :P

Also you could potentially integrate a hydrogen/power guage into a block like the split LCDs to show hydrogen amount and power amount within the cockpit without players needing to set up LCDs and such with the proper scripts.
Giin Sep 20, 2016 @ 10:05am
This looks brilliant, I've been flying around with my externally mounted LCD readouts, wishing they were in the cockpit!

They need to figure out how to implament this, vanilla.
Taurec Aug 21, 2016 @ 4:36pm
Its easy. Under the Line Blocks and Functions are all Blocks listed. First the Basic Cockpit. Then you can choose between Trunk, Sound or Oxygen modul. Only one of the three.
All other modules are optional.
When you are ingame, then:
- Build the Basic and one of the three upgrades (Trunk, Sound or Oxygen).
- Stand in front of the Cockpit
- Choose your optional Modules. Note the picture from the choosed modules. There are orange marked areas. This orange markers show you, on which position you must build the choosed modul. You can combine any modul with a different position.

I hope, this helps you, my english is not the best. :)
Yes Aug 21, 2016 @ 4:07pm
where is tutorial from first block to last block? cant u make easyer?
Taurec Jul 31, 2016 @ 12:26pm
I have tested the bug with the blue glass in a new game withot any other mod. There i have this bug too:

Kham Jul 29, 2016 @ 10:09am
Also because it'd be impossible if you knew anything about how blocks work in this game. A single block cannot ever be two or more things. A cockpit block cannot be an LCD and an LCD cannot be an oxygen generator... The blocks need to be independent otherwise it'd just be another cockpit with no function other than being a cockpit... Once you get used to it, the placement is actually very easy.
Taurec Jul 29, 2016 @ 5:25am
Because this Cockpit is a modular one, and everyone should be able to build his favorite cockpit.
Propell Jul 28, 2016 @ 11:00pm
Ohe and its to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard getting the display in to the cockpit way the ♥♥♥♥ did you not upload it complete?
Rindalthi Jul 28, 2016 @ 11:00pm
Post some screenshots of the glass issue? I've not experienced it but am curious of it.
