To address the hero spawn issue: I've released a new version that raises the hero per team limit to 10.

As a special bonus I've also added new chat commands that allow for changing the background color without switching levels, commands that return to hero or team select, and a command that toggles HUD visibility. You can find the details in the workshop description.

I hope this improves the usefulness of this tool for you all ! If you have any more issues or feedback please let me know.

This is very helpful, but there's a problem — The fact that the map is 1v1 means you can't spawn more than 1 hero (and it will be an enemy hero)

Well it happened coz I installed dota on another device. All works on old one. That's strange.

Can anyone run it? The thing was working and then I can't even choose a map and nothing's loading.

Any chance to fix the spawn cheats to allow for more than one hero to be made like in normal lobbies?

HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE??? I can finally green screen ability effects with ease! I know it's been a year since this was made but holy shit you have been a life saver dude.

I'm not familiar with the sfm tools honestly so I am not sure how to load the map in sfm. My best guess is that you either have to point sfm to the installation of the map in your dota 2 game folder or you have to move the map from there into an sfm specific location.

You can find this custom game's files located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\570\512412700 (The location prior to \Steam\ may vary if you have installed steam somewhere else on your computer)

Source games pack files into the .vpk format so you will need a special program to open them. I use GCFScape myself but any program that can open up .vpk files will work.

In the folder mentioned prior open the 512412700.vpk file and you can access the map files in the maps folder nested within.

That's all I can help you with unfortunately but I hope it points you in the right direction.

Try adding a password when setting up a lobby and it should allow you to enable cheats from the menu without using the console command

*update, I used local host for my lobby settings and I still can't enable the cheats for some reason.

it's stated something like "can't enable cheats on this game mode"

I think the dedicated server is preventing me from enabling cheats, and I couldn't find a way to make a lobby with my own server

I still get penalty when I decline the accept button, well shame :/

also, I couldn't enable cheats on the custom lobby settings and I couldn't turn the cheats on with the console command either

I do think the changes only disabled the penalty when leaving an ongoing match, so be cautious and try to accept when its ready anyways! If the recent changes didn't disable the no accept penalty I don't think there is anything on my end to configure to disable that one sadly

Seems to be an issue with some video settings causing the color to not be applied as expected. I am taking a look at a different approach that works on all video settings.

You should add level, wtf mode and more gold to buy some items.
If you cant add cheats, you can try give us 25 lvl, low cd on skills and full gold at the beginning

@Amirustic You can spawn an enemy ancient and win with -win, however the replay still wont be available.

Hey, I've found this super useful! Would it be possible to add the ability to look at a replay with it? As in adding a win condition which creates a replay so I can film animations and actions from different angles. Also maybe increase the map size :)
