I havn't noticed anything specifically wrong, and in game tests seem to show it working correctly.
I have added a new game rule to configure the delay time.

I'll investigate, either its a bug in game or they just changed how spawn unit code works.

Yeah indeed.
It gives the ai the chance to make a small kingdom, but nothing huge.
But this mod hasnt been updated so HF must have changed something.

So that's why I barely see anything happening at all.
While before, it was really highly chaotic with realms rising/falling quickly.

It kind of works.
It still mainly works, but the amount of troops given on insane has been DRAMATICALLY reduced.
In my games the random hordes would always be given around 50k with insane based on the year, but now they only get 11k. So it still kind of works, but something was changed to make it severely more underwhelming then the 50k deathstacks that used to be given out.
(I liked the 50k > 11k)

well then this will be intresting to say the least more challenges to. :P especally when you make a almost op char to begin with and have a solid force then we will see if mass numbers will be capable of winning v a op char and a better over all though smaller force. in any case this will make massive vet troops fighting those hordes and maybe have a vet system in for the better the vet troops the batter battle praformance especally when fighting hords. :P it will be epic. :D

@The Knights Hospitallers: I can look into it. Possible factor in the hidden ai characteristics a bit more as this can be a problem with any ai with low aggression too.

Can you make an option or balance change to decrease spawn chance in india? In most of my games a jainist count gets the troops, and never expands

@Halthekoopa: Interesting i never heard that before. At least nothing obvious in the code so if it is it would be a game engine bug. The mod doesn't interact with existing game events which is why it has high compatability.

Although I am enjoying the Mod and it Provides Interesting Turns of Events for Shattered World games, the Mod seems to be Triggering the Sunset Invasion Event line, Including the eventual invasion. I guess i am wondering if this can be fixed?

Hey Kysieran, thanks for your work on this mod thus far, and it seems like youre already been chugging along with the update for 2.7.

If its not too much to ask could you change your mod description when youre done with the update to let us know when its available. When I see, i'll be able to know when I can finally stop pressing refresh hahaha

Event file refers to "heavy_infrantry", which causes game to complain a bit. It seems to work with 2.7. No idea if that "infrantry" is causing any issues other than error.log entry.

@No, after 10 years then there is an average 3% chance based on a variety of factors every 15 years. Unless you are on insane rule mode then it can fire right at the start and is much more likely to happen.

- Added game rules to tweak both the sizes of hordes and the frequency of horde events.
- Fixed a bug where a catholic event is shown for non catholic zealous characters
- Performance tweaks
- Some of the newer traits now included in calculations
- Increased duration of opinion penalty to 10 years
- Horde events now fire a minimum 10 years into the game (except for the game rule insane)

@Knights: The opinion penalty will work better in forcing expansion. Adventurer trait was originally added to try and force expansion but it was doing little to help.

Not mentioned is that they also get a 3000 bonus amount of prestige as well now which really helps tribal rulers.

- Removed adventurer trait being added to chosen horde.
- Nearby rulers will now have an opinion penalty towards the horde spawner. Likewise the horde character now has opinion penalty to those same individuals.

i see you have that they can have nicknames. ive had this mod since it came out and the only nickname ive ever seen the ai get is " the avenger " right after theyw in the first great subjugation war

Hey, so I've been using this mod as a staple for a while now and I just wanted to tell you the two changes I made to it. I made hordes slightly more frequent, and I made it so that the person who gets the horde gets an opinion penalty of everyone (besides their vassals), and everyone (besides their vassals) gets an opinion penalty of the horde guy. This is to make sure that someone doesn't get a horde and then just sit peacefully. Great mod.
