You mean a class K type star, there is no such thing as a sol type star lol.

While aesthetically cool to look at in the picture, look at the scale. It's all over the map. The land masses and clouds you can see on the inner surface of the 'rings' would be many times larger than the sun...think about what scale you would be looking at from a vantage point larger than the Earth's orbit. Also, notice the 'windows' in the shadowed areas. Think of how large a window would need to be to be seen at such a distance....literally planet sized, as on such a scale Earth would look like just a tiny star if seen from such a distance. This of course is running off the assumption that the sun depicted is typical sol type star.

the idea of the dyson sphere is actualy very sound BUT the mass that it requires is so massive it would move past 3 solar masses
plus the mass would create a gravity so large it would almost surely collapse.
if we could construct such a thing it would not be a sphere it would be a triangle

The speed mod mods the max speed of ships. Move it from 111 meters per second or wahtever.

I don't understand what the speed mod does or what it's for.
