Addl play note. Game continues. Mardi Gras #6 (purchased with Faith) did move and gave tourism. #7 from Broadway crashed BUT on restart before move and with airports in place, did move from one city to another and then it could move on its own. Strange and unpredictable behavior. Hope it give a clue about what might be wrong.

Sadly, confirm problems with Mardi Gras. During my game, 1st operated as stated, 3rd permitted creation of unique GW. Number 2,4,5 crashed the game when movement attempted and did not allow GW. To continue game had to be deleted. Obviously cannot allow AI to play Acadia since it will always crash the game upon movement. Nice concept but unplayable as is. A pity since the Goelette is fantastic.

Great mod! Love it. However, having an issue with the Mardi Gras unit. The first one worked great. The second one did not have the option to create a Great Work, even though the city it was born in had an empty Music slot. I tried moving it out of the city, still couldn't create a Great Work. OK, thinks I, let's send it to another civ and get the boost to Tourism. Tried moving it, game crashed. Reloaded the game, tried moving it, game crashed. Reloaded the turn it was born, it went to the other civ and got the bonus fine.

The third Mardi Gras, I tried sending it to another civ, and it gets there OK, but when I try to disembark (the other civ is across the ocean), the game crashes. Other than the issues with the Mardi Gras unit, this is a great idea for a mod, absolutely.

Whatever errors were in this game regarding the Mardis Gras, I seem to have tested them out by giving them their own unique "great musics."

The game crashed one turn after my first Mardi Gras unit was created. might not be related to your mod but thought I would let you know. No biggie.

@MadGod Unfortunately this happens from time to time with mods. There are guides around the internet that help you refresh your mod cache.

The only one I can think of is that one of the AI civs was JFD's Papal States, which has the Disciple mechanic that can sometimes create great works of music.

Very strange. When I get a chance I'll look into it, but I haven't experienced that personally. Were you running any other mods that effect great musicians or great works possibly?

No, I was the only one who had great works of music at that time. The other civs hadn't reached the Renaissance yet.

ruhrgebietheld, is it possible that all great works of music had been expended in game? This sometimes happens later in the game when other civs go heavy on creating new great works, as there are a limited amount.

I definitely like this updated version of it better. The UA goes great on any sort of islands map. I did run into one issue with the Mardi Gras though. For some reason, it only let the first two of them that spawned create great works of music. After that, all the ones that spawned could only conduct concert tours, and had no option to create great works. That bug aside though, this was a great civ.

I figured it out that it was only crashing on the "large islands" map. i just set it to archipelago and it worked perfectly. I didnt try it on anyother map so im not sure why its happaning or if it does it on any of the other ones. But one of my other mods crashes on it too. I guess they just dont like large islands. But its worked on continents and archipelago. those are the only maps ive tried it on. Its working tho other than that. Its alot of fun having a religion that fast :P

Hey Konungur, not sure what's happening there. Did you recently download the new update for it? It's possible that the update broke an older version of the mod so that game might not work anymore...

Im not quite sure of the problem, It was working yesterday. But when i start a new game and click the "start" button. The one thats after the game loads. It freezes and i cant tab out ordo anything. ive had to resart my comp a few times trying to see if its other mods or anything. or just my game. But no, its the mod i do believe.

Outside of that, I really enjoy how this one turned out. It's fun to learn about all of these colonial civs that could've been. Also, I love unique great musicians.

Hate to bring bad news, but I'm getting an odd bug. The diplo screen when met was black, and when I tried to go to his diplomacy, it crashed to the desktop.
