I don't have a version for DST. Unfortunately it's more complicated than it looks and I don't really have the time for it anymore. But if anyone wants to take this and port it to DST they're free to do so.

Well, couldn't sleep, so I updated it to have recolors of the monkeys for other spiders. You can turn them off / change them individually in the mod configuration options if you don't like them. Definitely let me know if you run into weird issues. Crashes, spiders/monkeys going invisible, or unexpected changes in color are what I'd expect to see.

@Voice I'm really busy these days, so I don't know if I'd be able to get it done, but how would she feel about replacing their art with that from smallbirds (they'd look like big smallbirds)?

I'm deffinatly on the "demand" side of this. I was playing with my girlfriend and found the perfect base location with spiders beefalo and other resources all really close to each other, only to find out my girlfriend has arachnophobia. It's all spiders not just the cave ones.

Apparently they can be spawned very rarely when destroying relics or pseudoscience stations, but otherwise they shouldn't be there. You should be able to distinguish them by inspecting them, though.

It might be a glitch but I have seen Cave Spiders in ruins without bringing them.

@Turdle Splumonkeys should only appear in ruins, which won't have cave spiders unless you bring them.

But how can you distinguish the difference between a splumonkey and a spidermonkey?
