Darth retired from modding long ago and left open use permission. (Yes it still works but should probably be updated to current block definitions and scrolling.)
Joe Wick-ed Apr 6, 2023 @ 11:44am
does it still work?
Powerwise Oct 21, 2020 @ 7:29am
You should integrate this with the "scroll menu" with the vanilla interior wall. I can't believe I've gone so long without this mod. :steamfacepalm:

Hi, I would like to ask permission to repackage your mod into a collection for use on the Engineer's Paradise server. The collection is just that, a collection, and no mod will be altered.
You will be credited and a link will be provided to your original mod. Thanks

"Small ships don't have interrior wall blocks." - they do now.
Darth Biomech  [author] Feb 5, 2016 @ 4:56pm
Small ships don't have interrior wall blocks.
Mikal Feb 5, 2016 @ 3:01pm
A small ship (small block) version would be great!
Hollow_Knight Oct 31, 2015 @ 12:40pm
You know, I keep seeing these awesome little mods that add stuff that just makes SENSE. And then I notice: OF COURSE it's Darth Biomech again.

Thanks a lot Darth, for all your mods!

I'd kill for an inverted interior wall corner. I'm sure it's getting the texture to work, for it to look right or something why it hasn't been done.
cy-one Jul 18, 2015 @ 5:59am
I'd like the missing triangle-piece in the screenshot as well XD
Imote Khan Jun 5, 2015 @ 3:44pm
yes. other variations would be nice but that would be the one I personally would like to see.
Darth Biomech  [author] Jun 5, 2015 @ 3:43pm
You mean, variation with bottom of the interior block instead of top of it?
Imote Khan Jun 5, 2015 @ 1:58pm
I'm guessing thats an answer to Jason_the_Destroyer... any chance of you making more variations of the interior wall block?
Darth Biomech  [author] Jun 5, 2015 @ 6:00am
yes
Jasanic Bible Jun 5, 2015 @ 12:08am
Is this still compatible with DX9?
Imote Khan May 29, 2015 @ 12:52pm
any chance of adding a model that has the flat metal sides with the interior walls instead of the textured and lit sides?
Warialinth May 28, 2015 @ 10:18pm
any plans for dx11 upgrade? ...or waiting for dx11 vanilla models?
phillicomm May 8, 2015 @ 4:33am
Really, really good, thanks.
I don't know if you could make triangular blocks / inverted triangular, if you could, would be perfection :-)
Krahazik Mar 29, 2015 @ 11:38am
the devs should make this one into a vanilla block, should have been done already
Mind Goblin Mar 25, 2015 @ 9:29am
i actually have found this block to be really good for making a station look pretty. using two of these you can give a halway and a root a nice smooth 2 block high feel with out having the harsh 90 degree angle or sacrificing the armor integrity and density with a two block high room/hallway.
Mista_Majik_Moshos Mar 12, 2015 @ 1:20pm
Great mod btw
Mista_Majik_Moshos Mar 12, 2015 @ 1:17pm
Haha woops yeah that's what I meant, I'm okay doing what I've always been doing :p
Darth Biomech  [author] Mar 12, 2015 @ 9:54am
Uh... Interior blocks are colorable... Meaning that they can have ANY color.
Mista_Majik_Moshos Mar 12, 2015 @ 9:16am
Fair enough, a regular triangle piece that's the same colour as the interior blocks works fine. :)
Darth Biomech  [author] Mar 11, 2015 @ 10:45pm
I won't do triangle pieces, for I do not exactly understand how do they would look like.
Mista_Majik_Moshos Mar 11, 2015 @ 10:43pm
Will we see ever inverted corners and regular corners with an interior theme? Oh and just a suggestion, but maybe the triangular sides of the blocks should have a "plate" texture as opposed to a floor texture? Would look purdy :) Normally I just cover those sides with an armour panel corner from UncleSte's mod but sometimes that takes up a block space that could be used for a light or something.
Nefilol Seflll Mar 11, 2015 @ 6:49pm
So, so long after i requested someone make this mod in the forums, the all-mighty Biomech delivers, this is great.
Bierschiss27 Mar 11, 2015 @ 9:42am
@Darth Biomech *like* :D
Darth Biomech  [author] Mar 10, 2015 @ 10:13pm
@Andrewca712
Well ,yea, this is a strange logic, but it kinda making sense... I guess X)
NoBrain Mar 10, 2015 @ 4:12pm
those stars are only based on (positive - negative)
5 stars is at 200 or so.
Eikester Mar 10, 2015 @ 2:21pm
@Darth Biomech there is ALWAYS that one Troll who dislikes something for no reason
Lagy_Paladin Mar 10, 2015 @ 2:06pm
well. if i did dislike, it would be because its a pretty useless mod unless your looking to make the interiors of your ship look nice for when astriods tear it apart. i think its a pretty cool mod, so please dont take offence to my statement. i am just saying why somebody would dislike it.
Darth Biomech  [author] Mar 10, 2015 @ 1:39pm
Okay, four stars, means someone DISLIKED this mod... Why?
Xonivia Mar 10, 2015 @ 1:12pm
OMFG Interior Corner!
It's like a circle in Minecraft.
Bierschiss27 Mar 10, 2015 @ 12:18pm
nice!
Hitori Mar 10, 2015 @ 8:30am
Finally we can tell people to go sit in the corner. :P
I am sure many has considered this idea, but has not done it since it's only function is to look nice, only drawback with what you have done here is that the texture orientation is not flexible (it points into only 2 directions instead of 4 wich normal blocks do).

One large improvement would be a merging texture like on the normal armor blocks and that the texture is non-directional (looks same in any given orientation).
One idea would be that the frame lights vanish on the merging edge, meaning you can manipulate the looks by using the merge effect differently, even having a non-merging block would be a nice addon then.

With that kind of blocks you could write digital text using only 2 interrior wall types.
Otherwise, good work. :P

"I don't understand why nobody still hasn't done this. I mean, come on."
pretentious ?
Diesel Mar 9, 2015 @ 5:07pm
Your mods inpsire me to create mods...

I've just never done it, and have no idea where to start.

Thanks for another great contribution!
Shyning Mar 9, 2015 @ 3:24pm
.. Damn. As Sidro said, it looks so fucking dumb, I wonder how the guys at Keen reacted x)
Ultra simple, yet needed mod. Thanks !
Squishdro Mar 9, 2015 @ 9:42am
I wonder if anyone at Keen saw this and facepalmed because they (possibly) didnt think of it before :D:
nxterminator579 Mar 8, 2015 @ 10:51am
desc is so true XD
BlackRedDead Mar 7, 2015 @ 10:53pm
forget it, i notice it :D
BlackRedDead Mar 7, 2015 @ 10:52pm
can you make sloped ones for the side to?
to build a gangway or just smoth out edges ;-)
ShamblerDK Mar 7, 2015 @ 5:39pm
omg, the amount of times I've needed this is unsurmisable...
iliketocreate Mar 7, 2015 @ 5:00am
and you cant mod it for a new mod idea for a new mod?
Darth Biomech  [author] Mar 7, 2015 @ 4:47am
It is impossible to place blocks on the sloped blocks. they have no mount positions.
iliketocreate Mar 7, 2015 @ 1:50am
that also can be place and corners slopes lights that can be place on none sqaure blocks
