@The Alien Hunter I fully support having more Star Wars mods in Space Engineers but I have not been able to even load a world since the planets update. So unfortunately until the game is better optimized or I am able to upgrade my computer I will not be able to contribute.

hey, so it seems there is now a storm trooper player model on the workshop, will you be making an E-11 Blaster someday?

@Neen: Yes, like maybe a WESTAR-34 (Jango's blaster pistol), or possibly the BlasTech E-11 (Stormtrooper blaster rifle). Of course, it'd have to be wildly inaccurate in the hands of NPCs, but...lol

Ah, the BlasTech DL-44 Not as graceful, or precise as a saber...A less elegant weapon, for a less civilized age. Gorgeous work on the model!

@Neen Thanks! It took a bit of trial and error to get the animations to work for a pistol. I do have some ideas for future weapon mods but I am not working on anything at the moment. The next weapon that I am going to attempt will probably be the EE-3 Carbine Rifle.

The anims on this thing are really good, i like how while strafing the barrel still points forward. The model is solid, overall a very nice mod. Would love to see your take on a rifle or something similar, maybe something else out of star wars?

DuncanKong, I'd love to see this one and the bow caster added to the Star Wars community mod pack as well.

@StandartenAdmiral Schadenfreude: That's probably 'cause the original blaster was built over a surplus Mauser. Lots of classic sci-fi guns are built on older, real firearms. The Smartgun in Aliens is an MG-42, for example.
