unfortunatly mods can override the settings when it comes to these things. I'll see if theres a way to make it compadible with that mod.

yeah id say theres some sort of speed cap, once i hit 300 m/s im not the one conrolling the vessel anymore, it either refuses to go anywhere but up or it spins in circles like a ballerina and doesnt stop until my speed hits zero, feels bad man, ive desrroyed bout twenty ships cuz my speed limit! :(

so long as the aerodynamic wings mod doesnt set a hard cap in the mod itself. granted your in for some intresting results with the two.

Does this mod work with aerodynamic wings? Like Digi's Aerodynamic wings? if not thats fine, thanks in advance

Just want to point out thats totally possible with out a speed mod Salty, and there should be something within the core game that prevents that. But glad you found a great use for it!

So, i spawned in and i realised "hey i can travel at the speed of 1000m/s just on my jetpack, so i aimed up and started heading towards mars. Just on my Starter Fuel, i reached 600m/s, Got out of earths athmosphere and gravitational pull and ended up in the Vacuume at the speed of 570 M/s. Just on my Jet pack fuel i was able to reach mars before my oxygene ran out. Thank you Mod creator, Now i don't need ships to visit other planets.

LOL! I just remembered on Futurama when the 6,000 hull leak-proof space oil tanker hit an ice berg on Pluto Zoidberg reports all 6,000 hulls have been breached. Fry then says, "Why didn't they build it with 6,001 hulls? When will people learn?" XD

That is terrifying. I'm all for double layers, so when that first layer shatters, we're not all screwed.

Cool fact: One of the space shuttles had a terrifying thing happen - a paint chip from a satelite collided with the 4 inch bulletproof glass, and due to the incredible speeds reached in orbit, it embedded just a bit over 3 inches into the glass. Kudos to the engineer who insisted 4 inches is better than 3 inches. XD

Unfortunatly for Space Engineers, going at 6705.6m/s makes you go straight through objects, occationally blowing up millions of meters later. Fun times.
Goatroach Apr 16, 2016 @ 12:13pm
Just to think, the space shuttle in real life starts re-entry at about 400K feet (1,219Km) above sea level at about 15,000Mph, aka 6,705.6m/s.
Space is a big place.

Oh, and yes, much faster than Sonic, since Sonic can't breath in a vacuum. ;)

Sanic is fast.
