There are many videos on youtube of people with 100 colonists. The better your pc the more you can do. But after 100 the games gets really confused about things plathing and pawns just end up standing in place no knowing where to go.
So... functionally, the pop cap is whatever your computer can take before noping out.

There is no strict cap, but at 20 colonists the population factor is 0.2
Question... what is the intended population cap for this storyteller?
(example: Randy Random's soft cap is 13, with an upper limit of 50.)

So, can't seem to see the mod settings when looking in mod options at menu, I take it you need to be in game to see them or something? Or perhaps an issue on my end?

There's a mod called "Kindred Skies – Pregnancy Tweaks", it has a adopt newborn gizmo, could you add something similar, but for adopting any child? Maybe allowing us to pick the adoptive parents?

Ah, I'm doing a very low-tech tribal run right now, and so they're only groups of 1-3 and they *all* leave. Haha.

Yeah, good catch. That's one issue I had problem fixing and I'm not certain what's causing it. From my observations around 30-50% of raiders will exit the map upon arrival. Might be related to their pregnancy, but I applied methods to bypass it (seems like it didn't work). I am aware of it though

Hi! So when pregnant raiders arrive on my map, they just turn around and leave. Like I get the notification about pregnant raiders, I "jump to location" and I see the raiding pawns physically just walk off my map. Lol. (has happened 2x now!)

There are psytrainers, I'm not sure what do you mean. Rimworld automatically generates psytrainer for every ability that is a psycast. It can appear in exotic trader pool or quests.

What does this mean? I don't see anything relating to it in the rest of the description. I've been looking for a mod that manages to make pregnancy genes (such as littered births, multiple pregnancy[charmweaver], and oviposition[inserrt the many mods that allow laying eggs]) to work together. And i also already have some mods that mess with gene inheritence... would this mess with that?

I just see errors and doesn't see any new storyteller, using debug I was able to "summon" one of the abilities but that's about it. While I find this mod... strange, I will still provide a error report if you would like since I assume you'd like one.

My largest problem about the storyteller is it seems to have very few events happen. Though that might be the effect of having several children

You should add a raid like the Horax cultist ones from Anomaly where the raiders show up, cast the mass pregnancy ritual on your colony, and then just leave.

I LOVE HAVING CHILDREN IN "RIMWORLD." I LOVE MAKING THEM HAPPY AND GIVING THEM MEANINGFUL, FULFILLING LIVES. I LOVE SEEING PAWNS GET MARRIED AND HAVE CHILDREN. I LOVE PURCHASING CHILD SLAVES IN ORDER TO FREE THEM. I LOVE BUILDING FANCY ROOMS AND PLACES TO PLAY FOR MY CHILDREN. I LOVE SEEING THEM GROW UP AND BECOMING PRODUCTIVE TARGETS.

That’s a shame. I would use the storyteller but it’s hard not to use the VPE storyteller so everyone has a small chance to spawn as a psycaster, not just the Empire.

Nice work on making this mod, will no doubt be using if only because it could offer an interesting challenge to manage having so many children along with other elements that sometimes just happen in Rimworld. Though curious if you'll include mod options to disable some features like events from the storyteller, not saying it's a bad idea, just sometimes you want to do things without having the storyteller give you them instead. But either way it is a cool concept and work behind it!

So I love all of this... except the part about having waves of pregnant women I have to kill.

Will there be an option in the mods settings to turn this off? Or do I gotta use something like cherry picker?
