@*-AveragePlayer25-* I'll update the mod alongside the game so it doesn't break (until Paradox makes an actual UK Rework) but I probably won't make any new content unless there is a lot of public support for a specific path getting new content

I love this rework of the uk. Will there be any new updates after the Better German-Alt History 2.0 like maybe an Ireland rework or revamping the paths (if they do get outdated or anything else)

@DigitalBits Thanks! But as for your suggestion, I would, and I was heavily considering it, but it would look kinda weird so instead next update I'm going to add bookmarks like Germany's focus tree does.

Pretty fun mod, would it be possible to implement hiding alternate paths, like a lot of the other vanilla trees (e.g., spain). This would clear up a lot of clutter when choosing focuses.

@kralfacs It works fine, I literally just played it less than a week ago. Try running it with no other mods, it will work fine

Because the basis of that is toppling a communist state with the military and then forging a new state

@Jamie I basically just did it to add in fun silly paths, similar to those that the UK can (or at least one point could) in Kaiserredux

what's the reason focus path going communist then moving back to democracy or unaligned? Is this a difficulty path like the exta appeasement one, or just a way to justify crazy outcomes like UK restoring HRE/merger with USA, or is it balanced in some other way?

@Moist Turkey In the next update, it will be added (as a matter of fact, I have already completed that part of the update).

You should add a focus or mission for the battle of britan, something like some free AA and bombing resistiance

It would be a cool Easter egg if you could form Oceania from 1984

Absolutely, I even put in a focus called “Revenge for the Boston Tea Party” even though as an American myself it’s completely unpatriotic

Can I be "very evil" and pacify the rebelious colonists in that mod?

@MilkLover I should warn you if you want to try that other things will still not work because of some of the weird code in the USA and there are state changes which will break a few things

For anyone trying to play this with USA Rework who wants a quick fix and is comfortable digging into the workshop files:

(whatever drive Hoi4 is installed on) > SteamLibrary > steamapps > workshop > content > 394360 > 3537058569 (UK Rework File) > events

Inside the events folder delete USA.txt

NOTE: If going down the UK path to create a German America the American puppet AI might do things that they shouldn't be able to do (like elections or something). ALSO, when the UK mod is updated you likely will have to go in and delete that file again.

I just played an mp game where we did this and we were able to play as the USA & UK respectively with no issues that we noticed

@Swedish Swede Thank you! Although because of how recent the Nordic countries reworks were, and because I have limited knowledge on their history, I am not going to be making a rework on them. But, I think I'm going to add like a North Sea Empire path in the update that I'm working on right now.

I gotta say, this mod and your US rework are probably the best country reworks ive seen in recent memory. Really wishing you would grace the nordic countries with the same blessings
