@KRITENKO97: No log or details, there's nothing actionable for me to do.

For anyone experiencing issues, make sure the game reports that you're on version 0.9.3; if you're on any version between 0.9.0 and 0.9.2, those are buggy and should be updated to 0.9.3.

@Morcalvin: Can't reproduce the problem; I can zoom in a lot when using Camera+ with this mod: https://imgur.com/a/qKwR4Po

This mod breaks camera+, preventing me from being able to zoom in any further than normal

@浮猫: Here's me using dub's minimap with my mod and 808 other mods. I don't know what problem you're having, but it's not my mod's fault alone. https://imgur.com/a/Jp7vz68

maybe i have so many error like body defense of burns and thats why my game is fine
Misterdino Prime 13 hours ago
@ilyvion like i say, if i having some kind of error(idk see from what mod is) is not breaking my game, so suposse for now is fine
浮猫 13 hours ago
I didn’t find any error messages (or maybe they exist but I honestly don’t know how to look for them, I really can’t understand them), but after almost three hours of troubleshooting, I confirmed that when this mod is present, my mod Dubs Mint Minimap doesn’t work properly
ilyvion  [author] 19 hours ago
@MisterdinoPrime: Thanks, your log has some errors in it, but they don't look like they're my fault. 😅
ilyvion  [author] 19 hours ago
@Dark: I did think of something like that, but it'll ultimately be kind of pointless; I can only update the UI between passing control over to the various processes, so I wouldn't be able to show any new text while a static constructor is in the middle of running, say.
Dark 22 hours ago
Have you considered the possibility of adding some sort of API for mod developers so that we could report more detailed information about what's going on during, for example, static constructor initialization?
GonDragon Aug 22 @ 5:40pm
Cool, I was thinking in starting a new game tonight, with a ~350 mods (Not the biggest mod list, nor the smallest). I'll try enabling the setting. If you don't hear of me again, it means it worked allright.
Misterdino Prime Aug 22 @ 4:13pm
@ilyvion for what i played, i dont see a issue breaking completely the game, just in case i will share the logs if anyone want to see it(i think i already shared it)
Misterdino Prime Aug 22 @ 3:44pm
i will try on if works with big variety of mods
ilyvion  [author] Aug 22 @ 2:51pm
Alright, I believe I've fixed the issue now in the latest release, version 0.9.3. For the sake of everyone's and my sanity (especially as I'm basically going to bed right now), I'm going to leave the setting disabled for now, but I'd be very happy if some of y'all with large/diverse mod lists try turning it on and test it and report back.

I'm going to try to test it with a huge mod pack myself in a bit, and if that test passes with flying colors, I will probably enable the feature by default after that.

Running a "verify integrity of game files" on RimWorld will usually ensure that it downloads all the latest versions of workshop content properly.
gooberhead Aug 22 @ 12:50pm
if anyone has issues with steam not updating: download the mod from the github, open rimworld, go to mods, click the mods open folder, then drag and drop all the files into it
ilyvion  [author] Aug 22 @ 12:37pm
Alright. I'm getting several reports that people are having issues with the new mod feature, so I'm releasing a new version now that has the setting disabled by default. If you're feeling adventurous, you can turn it on again, but beware that it causes issues for people.

Make sure you're on version 0.9.2 of the mod to avoid problems. My apologies to everyone who got version 0.9.0 and 0.9.1 and used them along with incompatible mods before I got 0.9.2 released.
Tydram Aug 22 @ 12:18pm
Some of my mods stopped working and didn't come back until I disabled this mod. RimHUD and Nice Bill Tab didn't work at all but were still on my modlist (and even in mod options), and a some of the tooltip modded buttons were gone too (But the mods were working still, like Dub Mint Minimap and Planning Extended)

Here you have the log: https://pastebin.com/iwqYhhgv

@ilyvion ty a lot :)
ilyvion  [author] Aug 22 @ 9:46am
@whymemutted: Confirmed, that mod is doing something weird I never expected any mod to do. I'll get a fix out shortly.

Благослави вас Небеса! Как же долго мне приходилось гадать как долго будет грузится игра со всеми теми модами что у меня установлены! И вот напконец то я вижу и процесс загрузки и примерное время входа в игру! Спасибо вам большое! ^_^
ИInKILiм Aug 15 @ 3:41am
work with rim theme now?
Lacke Aug 12 @ 2:54pm
@ilyvion I will try that then ! I have no idea how to check the mod version, but will unsubcribe and subscribe again to see if there is any difference !
Thanks !

Edit : Looks like it works now as I didn't got it this session, you certainly were right on the steam part ! Thanks :D
ilyvion  [author] Aug 11 @ 10:25pm
@Lacke: You're not stuck on an old version somehow? Steam's been really glitchy about getting the right versions of mods out to people lately. I fixed what I believe to be the only potential source of that bug five days ago, and I've heard no reports of it since until yours right now, which makes me think it's not a common problem.
Lacke Aug 11 @ 3:42pm
It seems the flickering is back somehow... :(
Happens sometimes when receving an alert letter.
ilyvion  [author] Aug 11 @ 12:54pm
@BTCafe: I get some sporadic reports of issues, but most people report none at all and I personally test and use the mod with over 400 mods with no issues.
ilyvion  [author] Aug 11 @ 10:21am
@Winterstein: It's a planned feature; I'll add it when I get the chance. 🙂👍
Winterstein Aug 11 @ 9:07am
Hello, thanks for your mod, it's truly helpful and useful. Could you add a feature that allow to save loading time per mod? I've seen that you currently store the former launch time (approximatively) and I think it would be useful to have somewhere to look for an per mod comparaison.

This way, it would help us identify, not only the buggy launch, but also the mods that takes the most time and then made a decision on next playthrough on which to remove.

Thanks a lot
Tris Aug 10 @ 11:07pm
This mod is a lifesaver. Been struggling with getting any mod to load at all since the 1.6 update. I suspected that it was because of the new caching and multithreading that I was stuck constantly stuck on "initialising" with Windows stepping in saying 'not responding - close now' and my PC just melted while trying to wait.
So I installed this mod and bam, perfect load, no Windows interruptions. The game is running beautifully!
Thank you!
BTCafe Aug 10 @ 9:00pm
This doesn't mess loading like "Better Loading" ?
ilyvion  [author] Aug 10 @ 1:41pm
This mod is 1.6 only, yes. I am unable to run 1.5 on my computer, so I can't really test it. Plus, the loading sequence apparently was changed quite a bit between the versions, so I have my doubts you can just use it there without any modifications.
Khod Khasunii Aug 10 @ 8:32am
it say 1.6 only. is there a 1.5 version, or does it still work in 1.5 despite that?
ilyvion  [author] Aug 10 @ 3:39am
In particular, be on the lookout for this warning in the log: "These patches may not work as expected because Loading Progress replaces X" along with a list of the potential conflicts. I don't really expect many mods to be messing around in the same code as me, but just in case, I've now made the mod print out a warning about it. (Still only in the pre-release version linked in my previous comment as of the posting of this comment.)
ilyvion  [author] Aug 10 @ 2:53am
I'm about to release a new version of the mod that might help with some potential sources of mod incompatibilities, but before I go ahead and upload it for everyone, I'd appreciate it if some brave souls would be willing to run it on their mod lists. You can either grab it from GitHub [github.com] if you are logged in, or if you don't have an account, I've also uploaded it on my website [alexanderschroeder.net]. I've done my own testing, of course, but I'm not running into some of the issues that y\all are reporting, so more testers would be very appreciated before I release it widely.
Raistlin Majere Aug 10 @ 2:35am
Thanks ypu for this mod. I don't know why, but with it game actually loading and not stuck in halfway.
分生孢子 Aug 10 @ 2:27am
About the black screen problem, part of it may be because rimworld's recent update makes the mapping resources will take up gpu video memory, for players who use a lot of mods, there may be insufficient video memory and lead to a series of problems, of course, it may be caused by other problems, after all, the number of mods people load and the content is different. (Translated by AI)
ilyvion  [author] Aug 9 @ 11:45pm
I'm sorry to those who are experiencing black screen issues. I'm unable to reproduce it on my end even with using Loading Progress with several hundred other mods, but if somebody figures out which other mod is causing the bad interaction, I will look into it. Or if I stumble upon it myself.
ilyvion  [author] Aug 9 @ 11:43pm
@aedbla: New version released that should not log so much. 😅
aedbia Aug 9 @ 11:35pm
Thank you. I really like the functions of this mod.
ilyvion  [author] Aug 9 @ 11:32pm
Ah, thank you. That's only meant to show up once. If it shows of many times, that's a bug I need to fix. Thanks for the report.
aedbia Aug 9 @ 11:22pm
Sorry, my expression was inaccurate. I mean the log will output a lot of "[Loading Progress] Loaded translations" so that the logs of other mods cannot be displayed.
ilyvion  [author] Aug 9 @ 11:17pm
@aedbla: My mod isn't supposed to log much, if it does, that's a bug. If you're talking about turning off other mods' log messages, that's outside of the scope of this mod..
aedbia Aug 9 @ 10:55pm
Could you add a switch to turn off log messages? Loading a large number of mods will cause the in-game logs to exceed the display limit.
Sterl-GC Aug 9 @ 2:04pm
Yeah. What others have recently have said. My game goes to the initialize state and the game is stuck on a black screen... I can't even get an error log for what has happened. Which is a shame because that would help in finding what went wrong.
