Germans ARE taller than Celts, wtf is that guy smoking?
Alexander The Greek  [author] Jul 18, 2024 @ 6:55pm
Aristoxenus@ No, they are just taller on average.
Vaskonios 3 Jul 17, 2024 @ 5:36am
@troopieharold, what is dark kavalah?
Vaskonios 3 Jul 17, 2024 @ 5:35am
So basically the germans reached gigantism by this point
Alexander The Greek  [author] Jun 17, 2024 @ 9:27pm
@TroopieHarold The truth is that there is variation in height, but the average varies from nation to nation.
RMTH Jun 16, 2024 @ 3:33am
Germans are not taller than Celts. If this was true I could empirically prove this for everyone. So far. Its been almost entirely false. I suspect international finance and the dark kabbalah are responsible for this historical myth.

Il existe un mod qui change la taille des individus en fonction des données historiques et ça pour chaque faction... Dieu que on donne un cookie à cet homme
Alexander The Greek  [author] Apr 22, 2020 @ 4:07pm
This work only for vanilla units.
Dicknose Apr 21, 2020 @ 8:42pm
does this work with DEI
George Reptiloyd Dec 12, 2019 @ 4:22pm
Spartan manlets btfo'd
Dillinius Sandar Dec 12, 2019 @ 1:01pm
okay, thanks for the clarification
Alexander The Greek  [author] Dec 12, 2019 @ 1:00pm
I made the Spartans shorter.
Dillinius Sandar Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:56pm
but thats what im asking, did you make them equals by enlarging the regular greeks, or slightly shortening the spartans and slightly enlarging the other greeks as opposed to how they are without the mod
Alexander The Greek  [author] Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:47pm
No, I said they are equals now
Dillinius Sandar Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:45pm
so your saying you made the regular spartan infantry a little shorter to match the other greeks height?
Alexander The Greek  [author] Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:26pm
Yes, this thing changed with this mod, the Spartans have the same height with the other Greeks.
Dillinius Sandar Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:22pm
i didnt mean in real life, i meant the spartans are taller than other greeks and romans in the game, and was just wondering if your mod made the spartans shorter or made the other greeks taller like the spartans, as in just the basic infantry.
Alexander The Greek  [author] Dec 11, 2019 @ 12:28pm
Dillinius Sandarius@ In this mod some units are taller and some others are shorter than vanilla. This change is for all factions.
I don't believe that Spartan soldiers were taller than the other Greeks. They were more violent and they liked the war most of the other Greeks but they weren't taller.
Dillinius Sandar Dec 9, 2019 @ 1:02pm
does this mod change the average height of soldiers in the game to any bit larger than vanilla, or is it pretty similar for basic soldiers. for example, vanilla spartan soldiers where taller than essentially any civilised factions soldiers, including picked hoplites, legionaries, etc. with this mod, they are essentially the same heights as per your description but i am wondering if the new height makes the average civilisation soldiers more towards the height of the vanilla spartans, or brings the spartan hoplites down to the height of the average civilised soldier. hope you understand the question.
Alexander The Greek  [author] Sep 19, 2018 @ 3:09pm
Gaius Antonius@ The truth is that we can't be sure about the human height in ancient age because they didn't discover the metre. You must think that the global human average was 10 cm shorter before 1950. Probably the most men at the ancient age were 150 cm - 175 cm and the women 140 cm - 160 cm. Today the most men in the world are 160 cm - 190 cm. Barbarian doesn't mean taller. For ancient greeks the barbarians were the foreigners and not necessary the violent and wild people. Not all the barbarians were taller than civilized people. Today, we are taller and more civilized the most people and we don't make easily war. Tall people you can see in all countries but in some countries the average is higher.
Gaius Antonius Sep 19, 2018 @ 12:54pm
If you read books written by Roman generals on Roman army composition, they speak about the size of soldiers. And this seems off from what I read. Roman horsemen would be about 6', but infantry would probably be anywhere from 5'-6'. Then you have accounts of barbarians being generally larger than civilized folk.
Alexander The Greek  [author] Aug 30, 2018 @ 10:43am
Illyrian@ I don't know how can I do this because Iam not game developer and I don't have the available resources. Good idea but don't forget that It isn't common to see fat warriors especially in ancient age. The ancient people didn't eat pizza, burgers and candies.
Alexander The Greek  [author] Aug 30, 2018 @ 10:31am
Gorgulla@ The mod isn't ready yet but I will update it soon. I was off these days. I don't know this problem with unit cards. My mod affects unit variants.
Iolaus Aug 29, 2018 @ 9:57am
Hey I'm wondering if modding body types is possible ?
It would be realistic to see some skinny or fat guys out there swinging swords and axes, but
CA made only 1 single body type it seems for every unit, you can tell easily by looking at some shirtless units that all look identical
AdamosTomatos Aug 25, 2018 @ 7:24am
doesn't work with rise of republic, makes all my unit cards as rome to ships. No idea why it affects unit cards but as soon as I deactivated this mod, it works.
Skarime Aug 15, 2018 @ 1:37am
Ok thanks
Alexander The Greek  [author] Aug 14, 2018 @ 8:46am
This mod affects only vanilla units and for patch 19.
Skarime Aug 14, 2018 @ 2:46am
Hi, It is compatible with DEI last version ?
Alexander The Greek  [author] Jun 28, 2018 @ 5:00am
I don't think so, because Iam sure that already changed the vanilla units height but they have and new units too.
Amadeo Jun 27, 2018 @ 10:48pm
does this work with dei?
Alexander The Greek  [author] May 23, 2018 @ 8:03am
Iam realist.

Alexander The Greek  [author] Jun 14, 2017 @ 4:48am
l11@ Unfortunately you will not understand much in the pictures because the differences aren't big because height variation. You will understand better if you test it yourself.
l11 Jun 14, 2017 @ 12:21am
can you add some photos?
