I figured it out they updated to the beta version of Ares at war in that version lithium and sulfur battery are a thing

@LordKirby From what I remember, Industrial Overhaul adds a bunch of new resources (including sulfur and lithium) and manufacturers along with new energy sources (geothermal, gasoline, rocket fuel, etc), however I didn't see it listed in the Ares at War mod packs so I am not sure how those items are being included.
