Is this a separate map or does it complement the original?

I've spent a lot of time playing the B41 version of this map, and it's become my gold standard for Zomboid mapping. It blends seamlessly with greater KY, avoids overstuffing (no 50 gun shops on a corner), and all foraging zones work. For my hardcore wilderness survival playstyle, nothing tops it. This will be my go-to northern map for the foreseeable future.

Since it's still in development, I'd love to see additions to break up the rural house sprawl; things like a radio station (à la Riverside golf), industrial areas, a McCoy logging camp, roadside diners, gas stations, and power lines. Unique houses would also go a long way in adding variety and character.

That said, even if nothing changed, I’d still keep playing it. It’s a fantastic mod and I really appreciate the hard work. Can’t wait to see the final B42 version, thank you!

i'd like to see mods that complete the states of kentucky, indiana, ohio, and michigan

imagine spawning in irvington and needing to get to family all the way up in marquette, but stopping by in detroit for a better vehicle and mad maxing it out
JJ Jul 20 @ 2:29pm
suggestion: copy and paste houses are fine, but what would be cool is copy paste buildings unique to indiana
GONZIEBONZE Jul 20 @ 1:37pm
upstate ny would be a good map to
tre Jul 20 @ 11:53am
cool
Personman Jul 18 @ 11:29am
archeaogamer, id love to see it, so far i havent been to most of these cities.
Goku Jul 17 @ 7:19pm
crazy seeing my state get a mod
26thegamers Jul 17 @ 6:23pm
you should do project ohio and include my home state
CyberŠkorpión Jul 17 @ 12:28pm
Is Evans Landing similar to Echo Creek?
Minimum Viable Suffering Jul 16 @ 9:04pm
I've never seen so many people so excited to go to Indiana... ever. It warms my cold, dead, northern-Hoosier heart.
Personman Jul 16 @ 9:14am
NEW ALBANY LETS GOOOOOO BOIELRMAKERS
Schwarzer Junge :/ Jul 16 @ 8:42am

Alucard Jul 15 @ 7:56am
errr.....hello..I already installed this Map MODS, but how to get there? right now I'm at the edge of Brandenburg bridge..
Tiny Blue ArchaeoGamer Jul 14 @ 2:58pm
I'm a Hoosier and I'm so stoked for this! Maybe we can get Bloomington? It's a massive College town. But Corydon! OMG!! Love!
goccupcake Jul 14 @ 11:04am
map is alright. qlthough the population doesnt reflect the sandbox settings. I usually play on insane population and theres not many hordes in the country side.
The vanilla map would usually have a big horde at most houses
Orange Gaming Jul 14 @ 1:43am
This map is great
altho the cop-paste houses do make it feel like the vanila map but thats fine
I understand its alot of work to make custom houses
XZ_Man Jul 14 @ 1:04am
@Slaine I think that is a mod order issue with Knox Event mod as I seem to have both running on a playthrough, I believe I moved this mod to the very top.
General Sno Jul 13 @ 5:37pm
Is it possible to remove the mod from an existing save? Will my save be fine?
Dirty Mike Jul 13 @ 4:59pm
will this work with 10 years later?
Maggatron Jul 13 @ 12:33pm
OMG YES!! As a native Hoosier myself, I cannot even begin to explain how much I've wanted to play a character from Indiana who moves to Lousville but tries to go back home to save her family... but it's too late... Haha, thank you so much for making this!!
360noHope  [author] Jul 13 @ 9:48am
@QTheBoo
Yes it can be run MP. Comments on the B41 map should be working also.
Dawg_360 Jul 12 @ 9:58pm
love the map just think zombie spawn rates need to be worked on as there is far to many on just far off back roads and in remote locations.
QTheBoo Jul 12 @ 8:00pm
Does this work in 41 MP (I would have asked in there but I can't comment)
REAL UMA PATRIOT Jul 12 @ 7:57pm
@360noHope
Thanks for the response.
I'm always looking for new standalone maps to play so I'll be giving this a try.
Cheers.
360noHope  [author] Jul 12 @ 7:25pm
@Chii
Yes, you should be able to forage anywhere on the map. This question added to the FAQ.
REAL UMA PATRIOT Jul 12 @ 1:51pm
Does this map have foraging zones?
It's very cool but so many large map expansions don't have foraging zones making them unplayable.
kod77 Jul 12 @ 6:26am
Description has a link
kod77 Jul 12 @ 6:25am
@TacticalKitten The original Indiana map literally has B41 compatibility, search it up
Wawa Jul 12 @ 2:59am
could you make it b41 supported if it isn't too difficult
Slaine Jul 12 @ 1:17am
Game crash if I run KNOX Event expanded alongside it. Other than that this is Brilliant.
seby989 Jul 11 @ 7:46pm
diagonal streets mod?
GerardotheCrusader Jul 10 @ 2:05pm
10/10
johnthepatriot Jul 10 @ 2:51am
See this is what the devs need to be doing. I'm not one to complain about a lack of DLC and/or microtrans... but devs need to eat too.
Midnight Jul 9 @ 8:25am
this is zombawesome
DestrutiveFur Jul 7 @ 2:57pm
This is so cool! I ain't gonna play it yet until it gets more stable but keep this up! This could go further with so many things like more locations, easter eggs, maybe even little bits of lore within the map.
supasaiyajinrosekaiokenx Jul 7 @ 12:36pm
one day we're gonna have the entirety of the USA in zomboid
󠀡󠀡 Jul 5 @ 8:48pm
the king has returned

now this is epic
Metal Mario Jul 4 @ 7:00pm
Gorgeous. Huge. Amazing. Love it
Goatroach Jul 4 @ 3:33am
@killergreek007
Lol, Chiraq would be interesting. I grew up in the NW 'burbs, out near Barrington and Palatine, and remember what it was like in 1993 quite well. Used to be rural, and now it's urban.

I do wonder how much maps from 1993 are adhered to when people make map mods. We didn't even have a computer, no GPS, no Google Maps, no cell phone (used walki-talkies), but rather Rand McNally physical maps, and if you went on a road trip, you would be wise to buy up-to-date printed maps of the states you were gonna go through. Pocket in the car door was stuffed with them. Different times.
Goatroach Jul 4 @ 3:06am
Would be cool if Yellowwood State Forest was part of the map.
My buddy and I went primitive camping at Yellowwood Lake last year, and it was a neat area.
SS Edmund Fitzgerald Jul 3 @ 8:52pm
Ive lived in the HOOSIER state for years and never heard of those towns.
BigBrotherBilly Jul 3 @ 7:17pm
Gary not included
TheDude Jul 3 @ 3:04pm
when did zomboid maps start becoming peak?
5genlee5 Jul 3 @ 6:11am
@blue division, it mostly caused by other map mod, try disable constown mod
Blue Division Jul 3 @ 5:06am
when i open the map its completely gray in game. Is this normal or am i experiencing some kind of conflict?
