So im a bit confused here. The mods that need this mod says they work on 1.5 but this one says its 1.6 only

Really wish this had 1.5 support on it, a couple mods I wanted to use require this, which means they are effectively locked to 1.6. I don't want to bother with 1.6 for awhile.

Ever since I subscribed to this set of neat defence mods I've been getting spammed with errors every time sappers show up on a raid. I tried removing and re-adding a variety of mods and re-triggering sapper style raids, and narrowed it down sadly to this one.

The core is that the DefModExtension (definition extension) Fortified.ShuttlePermitExtension incorrectly uses TransportShipDefOf in the constructor (ctor), violating the strict rules of the RimWorld framework on the initialization timing of the DefOf class.

Mod code error: The developer of the Fortified module mistakenly directly referenced the static members of TransportShipDefOf in the constructor of ShuttlePermitExtension. This is a taboo in RimWorld module development.

Violation of life cycle rules: RimWorld's Def loading and initialization has a strict order. The DefOf class is absolutely not available when the constructor is executed. DefOf must be used safely to reference other Defs in the ResolveReferences() phase (when all Defs and DefOfs have been initialized).

Im not sure what happened but with the latest update this mod(and Dead Man Switch) and Mad Skills+ are generating an insane amount of errors. This wasn't the case a few days ago. Here is the log if it helps.

核心在于 Fortified.ShuttlePermitExtension 这个 DefModExtension(定义扩展)在构造函数 (ctor) 中错误地使用了 TransportShipDefOf,违反了 RimWorld 框架对 DefOf 类初始化时机的严格规定。

模组代码错误: Fortified 模组的开发者错误地在 ShuttlePermitExtension 的构造函数中直接引用了 TransportShipDefOf 的静态成员。这是 RimWorld 模组开发中的禁忌。

违反生命周期规则: RimWorld 的 Def 加载和初始化有严格的顺序。构造函数执行时,DefOf 类绝对不可用。必须在 ResolveReferences() 阶段(此时所有 Def 和 DefOf 都已初始化完成)才能安全地使用 DefOf 来引用其他 Def。

I don't know what exact dead man's switch mod is causing it, but I'm betting it's this one, so I hope this report helps. A few hours ago my mods were working fine, then I updated them and relaunched a few minutes ago. My game broke on launch with an 'incompatible or corrupted mods' message, too many errors to count on a near frozen screen, and the game unloaded all mods from my mod list automatically. I had the mod list saved so I removed this framework along with the dead man switch mods, then relaunched, and it started up fine. This recently updated, so maybe something changed or went wrong?

Just adding this framework to my modlist causes the game to deactivate every mod on start and complain that a incompatible mod conflicted. I kinda narrowed it down to something in the vanilla expanded series and putting it below all of them atleast load with a bunch of errors, seems to work though.

@Dr,Thrax stop huffing all of those chemicals and calm down. Mods after a new DLC drop are and were always messy and horrible for devs and users. Chillax, smoke some of your anthrax J's and wait patiently. People got lives.

most of the issues should be solved now, please make sure you got the latest version of every mods, steam sometimes just not updating it.

buncho bugs with fortification line of mods, they will be probably fixed soon but damn that ruined my dream of compact nuclear reactor on a gravship

This is why mod maker is stupid make us go 1.6 when people have already problems with other mod and we can't use this on 1.5 anymore after he removes the older file. But no one what hear the truth that all your problem just like mod maker.

Man, I wish these worked for me. None of the industrial turrets show up in game and citadel completely prevents me from loading or starting any saves at all.

Rimworld didn't run for about 3 hours so when I looked up the cause it only happened when I put this framework and other mods. I don't think it's compatible with other mod.

"framework"= has things to be used by other mods, not required unless a mod needs it(im not 100% sure this mod does nothing on its own, though).
i think its a dll combining all of their features so they dont need to update multiple dlls. theres basic xml defs for everything. if steam tells you a 1.5 mod "requires" this mod, thats probably due to the 1.6 version of said mod requiring it (afaik you cant set that seperately for different versions of the same mod!) but i havent found a mod requiring this yet so maybe they´ll 2.0 re-upload their mods for 1.6 with this dependency so 1.5 players dont face this problem OR its actually only meant as a tool for the community to make stuff with. its a bit of a mystery lol but uhm dont use it for 1.5...

I going say this 100% stupid the mod maker force people to 1.6 with out keep 1.5 in mod as not ever mod updated to 1.6 childish!
