It was fun while it lasted. Wish more community creations would last as long as the Mobster servers did.

us servers are dead, been playing a bit there and i thought there was a community being built but tbh server has been dying and now i havent seen someone on for more then 3 days, kinda sad since the mode is the most fun i had in a while, trickstabbing vip was so much fun but ig not everything will live for ever lol

To join a community server, navigate to the "Community Servers" tab in the main menu. There, you have two options.

A) Use the "Favorites" tab, click the "Add a Server" button in the bottom-right corner, where you paste the IPs.

B) Use the "Internet" tab and add "vip_" to the "map" filter.

I don't know how to join. Can someone help me?

I really like this mode. It's such a nice change of pace, and feels much more dynamic and high stakes than anything the base game can offer. Playing as the Mobster has made me more cautious and methodical than anything TF2 has offered before.

I also wanted to mention that there's an glitch where everyone calls the VIP "Lobster" and It makes me think they're talking about me because I have a Lobsona. I don't know the steps to recreate it.

Mobster is like a breath of fresh air for TF2. Hope it gets official and hope you make more maps for mobster to play on. It’s like 10th TF2 class got added to the game.

ok, booted up tf2 again today, it shows up for me now

i have done both, they both dont work

Seems like for some users the servers appear to be inactive, despite them being online, operational and having players connected.

Try adding the IPs to your favorite list in the community server or try to use a `connect IP:port` console command.

the mobster vip servers are down(?)

from what i see, looks like attack/defend but you need one guy in order to progress

If these maps along with the gamemode gets in it would revolutionise both the original VIP gamemode as well as expand TF2 lore.

When people thing VIP, they think of the civilian. But having the Mobster mean other VIP maps can have their own escort characters with unique gameplay mechanics and more fun and engaging than just a guy with an umbrella. If Mobster is approved, I can't wait to see other new VIP characters made.
