@Asmo Some time recently Valve changed how "Most Popular of all time" maps work.
I clearly remember that before this change VSH Tiny Rock and VSH Facility were at the bottom of page 1.
Seems like the new algo gives priority to recent maps.
As for bots, it is currently unknown who it sending bots to maps seemingly at random. We've reported it to Valve. Fortunately, the amount of bots was insubstantial when compared to legit visits.

Why is it that when I sort maps by "most popular of all time", three VIP maps that have been out for a little over a month are the top results? Botted much?

@bearishplane17 that is because Chicago typewriter is slang for the Thompson machine gun, we based it off that phrase because we cannot use the name "tommygun" and i assume the developers of resident evil 4 also did that for similar reasons

An updated has been dropped:
- Overtime no longer uses the ugly game_text.
- Added new Mobster voice lines for the following events:
  - Throwing the Money Bag
  - BLU attacking the point without the VIP
  - Surviving a backstab
  - Getting soaked in Jarate
  - Starting Rock-Paper-Scissors
- Added Soldier and Sniper voice lines for calling the Mobster a Spy.
- Added goal descriptions.
- Fixed a rare crash on Linus related to shader materials.
- Fixed the Typewriter having a passive reload due to a bug.
- Fixed the Lead Pipe not bending after dealing damage.
- Various performance improvements and code cleanups.

It might take some servers some time (an hour or two) to update the map.

Find it funny how the submachine gun is called "The Typewriter" while there being a similar gun in Resident Evil 4 called "Chicago Typewriter"

we'll likely do a big pass on the taunts to make them all really good once we actually finish all of them, also the reason the victory lap is so broken is because the turning animations cant be imported to an editor for some odd reason. so the animator just had to guess what they looked like.

I think what Terrorwerg2009 is asking is "when will the taunts be fixed," not when more will be added. For example: the Conga will only play correctly for a few moments before glitching out, resulting in The Mobster just sliding around until the animation decides to play correctly again. Also the Conga has a little bit of "foot slip", and I believe this is because the animation is being played a little to quickly. Additionally, The Kazotsky Kick and Mannrobics also play too quickly, and should be slowed down to about 85% of their current animation speed to look correct. And, I think we're all aware that The Victory Lap is just straight up broken (hilariously so I might add!). Either way, I know that balancing comes before graphical polish in projects like this. I would like to see the animations fixed in the future though, because the animator did an outstanding job on capturing The Mobster's personality! Also, keep up the good work!

A gamemode update has been released:
- **Taken measures against camping the Mobster Transformation Pickup.**
- The Typewriter's damage was reduced by 18%.
- The Typewriter's spread and damage fall-off were rebalanced.
The Typewriter used to be extraordinarily strong at close range, very weak at mid-range, and had precision higher than you'd expect from such a weapon. Hopefully, these changes will fix the problems.

- Added briefing description.
- Added garlic bread.
- Adjusted Mobster's hat (thanks Sam).
- The Mobster now comes pre-packaged with a cigar and no longer needs to taunt to obtain one.
- Added animation to the deployed Money Bag.
- Changed the hit sound for the Lead Pipe.

- The Typewriter's reload animation now better matches the actual time of the clip refill.
- Fixed Typewriter's Shove not working under certain conditions where you'd expect it to work.
- Mobster's weapons now glow under crits in first-person.
- Fixed Shortstop appearing for the Mobster in first-person while ubered.
- Restored Money Bag's jigglebones.
- Fixed Overtime activating during Waiting for Players.
- Fixed the Mobster receiving unintended extra damage knockback.

Would rather this just stay as a community thing, because I can't see this going well or playing well as an official addition to Casual. Plus the Mobster in all honesty looks atrocious when you put him next to everyone else. He looks as if the designer saw Spider-Verse Kingpin for the first time and tried to make a TF2 OC out of him.

There's list of community servers in the map description, as well as in the discussions.

To join a community server, navigate to the "Community Servers" tab in the main menu. There, you have two options.

A) Use the "Favorites" tab, click the "Add a Server" button in the bottom-right corner, where you paste the IPs.

B) Use the "Internet" tab and add "vip_" to the "map" filter.

- Reverted the Typewriter's firing speed reduction. It's now as fast as it used to be.
