Once you have obtained the seeds and unlocked the ability to plant a particular plant, will it stop spawning randomly on the map?

What is the difference with wild cultivation ?
Futstub Jul 12 @ 11:16pm
Ok, thank you, Imma use that mod then, but I keep checking this one in case you update it for more biomes, then Imma switch to yours! :)

@Futsub Full details about plants added are in the chart in the mod description (located below the exact paragraph I'm copying, incidentally). If you disagree with any of my choices, or you want to cover different biomes or use different mods to cover them, I recommend the excellent Choose Wild Plant Spawns mod to tweak everything to your liking. This mod is just an easy install-and-go preset designed with Ferny's Progression Modpack in mind.

How does this work with modded biomes (like from "More Vanilla Biomes") and the ones from the new DLC? Is there a mod option to change the spawned plants?

@ruler_ruler_hi4_seeker_4_seeker I addressed this literally just 4 comments before yours
I was wondering: have you seen the VV - New Harvest mod? If so, will compatibility be added for this? In the meantime, how does one make this mod compatible with other such mods?

Ignore this one...you will see this prick in many good mods with the same beheavior. Take your time.

I'm not one of those authors who just updates the tag and hopes it'll work, I actually test and check for changes in the mods I'm hooking into.

Aaaand not one single mod plant this thing spawns has been updated to 1.6, so you can calm the actual f down.

UPDATE WHEN?????????????????

@Iirly As stated in the description: "If you disagree with any of my choices, or you want to cover different biomes or use different mods to cover them, I recommend the excellent Choose Wild Plant Spawns mod to tweak everything to your liking. I'm not really interested in digging through 50 new plant defs, researching what biomes they should appear in, and trying to bend the results of that research in such a way that the plants are distributed in a fair and potentially interesting way (like in the above table). It would be much better for you guys if someone invested in New Harvest just forks my mod. It's an XML-only mod with an open license, so it'd be a good learning project.

@harmonea would you consider adding the plants from the mod New Harvest to this? It's a fairly new mod that adds more new plants including new types of plants used for early game building materials like Rattan and such.

will this mod work on mid-game save?
Gear`O`Derm Apr 2 @ 10:44pm
Excuse me if I don't understand it correctly, should this mod be placed before or after Choose Wild Plant Spawns?
Kimo' Mar 30 @ 12:44pm
Ah I missed that part, my bad. Thanks for the reply!
Harmonea  [author] Mar 30 @ 12:27pm
@Kimo' As stated in the description, I haven't put any backup crops in place. Check out Choose Wild Plant Spawns to make your own tweaks!

Really cool mod! Just one question, if you don't have Medieval overall, do you get the VE equivalent, like the apples in the boiling forest for exemple?
StockSounds Mar 29 @ 8:26pm
Gotta love a ferny approved mod that improves scavenging!
