How do these work compared to the normal mag locks? I dont like that the mag locks basically make it so that i have to be glued to the surface for it to work. I'm looking for a mod that gives me a magnetic, lock like landing gear, but leaves me floating above the surface I'm on top of by a little bit.

i mean, this is probably not getting an update anymore. but, if possible, can you make the max different velocity to something like 7m/s like the vanilla landine gear, cause all the issue with this currently are mostly cause by the speed difference between the target and the mag lock have to be 0 and its almost imposible in space engineer cause... how this game works i guess, so yes. just fix that single number, and it should work like how everyone here expecting it to...

Not work on rotors either, maybe they need to be able to detect sub-grids. i think is the issue as no detection , no ready to lock indicator.

Thes can lock and work but they can only lock to static grids.. please fix.. for normal grids

The game still works and no crash, but the block doesn't grab onto anything, auto or manual

Very useful when hunting for containers, I've found. Better a pad of these than regular landing gears; what with the latter not taking up a full 3 blocks long, you could fall between them.

Can you create a similar version for drills?
I want build things like bulldozers, so i need 1x1 drills with very small area of effect. I imagine a shovel with some small drills and ejectors filling it.

The newest patch broke the emissives - the indicator lights are now white all the time.

I think you just need to add the new "emissive state" stuff to the mod file.

I can Comfirm with only this mod on. DS crashes soon as one is started weilding.
you can creativly place one. but weilding will crash the DS.
also if you do place one. expect to crash while grinding it.

Edit: Tested in solo as well. and same thing, I recommend removing from DS if your having Problems. -

My fav landing gear replacement. I`ve been using these since version one. The only bugs I`ve found are always related to actual landing gears or other things eg. rotors pistons and the fact that the game phyisics does not calculate mass correctly when you dock a ship in another ship with landing gear magpads or docking ports. They are great for ships that dont look good with landing gears and especialy good for miners, no legs sticking out to catch on rocks. The only request I would have is perhaps some more sizes. A x4 would be nice as some of my big ships have quite a number on the bottom and a micro size, eg. something mini that would say fit on the end of the pillar. Other than that I`m very happy with the mod. Thanks to Harag for this little gem.

My guess is this has something to do with the newly introduced render restrictions . I'll wait a bit to see if this is one of those situations where the effect on mods wasn't fully thought through.
