BloodSiphon skill description seems inaccurate? Is the actual combat effect lower than the skill description, is it a bug?

Having UI issues now with the latest update, whenever i hover over an item, then move the mouse cursor off of it, the description still remains.

Looks like Terraria Ambience is what causes crashing when going to Ravencrest for any of those that are experiencing that make sure to disable that mod

ADD CHECKPOINTS ON ALL MAPS WITH BOSSES, I died on the twins because of this and didn't get anything, you'll respawn at the beginning of the location!!!

That appears to have fixed it, not sure which mod was causing the problems, though. Still confused why it worked the first time...

FYI, I do have several other mods active, like various shaders, movement improvements, and the mod that makes your current weapon visible, but nothing game changing. I'll try offloading them now. (I'll provide an update.)

My game repetitively crashes when loading Ravencrest, I've attempted to reload the mod, unsubscribe and re-subscribe, I've made several new characters and worlds, even going so far as to reinstall the entire game to no avail. Despite this, it worked fine my first attempt loading it, I started two quests and set my spawn point at the village, hoping it would spawn me there every time I loaded the game (I did not know the purpose of the arcane obelisk and thought I had to walk to the raven statue every time), after this, I returned to my main world, and whenever I tried entering Ravencrest, whether that be through the arcane obelisk or manually, I would (almost) instantly crash. And its not like I have bad PC specs either, it's more than enough to play the likes of Red Dead Redemption II on 1080p, but simply crashes anytime I load the town. Has anyone else had this problem, or have a fix? Because I genuinely DO want to play this mod.

The first boss I killed was queen bee, later I think it was King Slime, and after killing eye of cthulhu it got stuck there. its The Rising Omen questline. Currently I killed wall of flesh but The Rising Omen is still active and says to talk to Garric

This is the King Slime quest? It's still unclear. Again, in order to get to every other boss you mentioned (aside from King Slime, though that's also confusing), you need to beat King Slime. How did you do this?

It tells me to talk to Garric, but whenever I restart the game it also says to talk to Eldric and give him XXX. Anyway, Garric still doesn’t appear on my map, so I can’t finish this quest. I’ve already defeated Brain of Cthulhu, King Slime, and Skeletron. I also redid the Eye of Cthulhu, which is required for this quest, but the quest status didn’t change and Garric still hasn’t shown up. Anyway, it’s super fun, so thank you for the great work!

You can't do which quest? Kill the King and The Rising Omen are the only quests Garrick is required for, both of which must be completed for Skeletron and Queen Bee's quests to be available.

Garrick disappeared after cthulhu I guess, I have done other quests like queen bee, brain of cthulhu, skeletron but cant proceed with that one - it says to talk to garrick but he is gone

As of right now, unless I am doing something completely wrong, I can not pass the first rooms in Skeletrons domain. Flipped switches, ran back and forth multiple times and yet can not advance through the first rooms.

@deber_69 the raven should have led you to the teleporter to ravencrest. if it didnt you might need to do a new world as it sounds like it might not have generated. the new 3rd equip slot also not working for me.

to enter ravencrest? the raven just marches all the way to the ocean. so i cant find the entrance. am i missing something?

Yes, the Vanity system is really not working properly :(, Vanity items cant be used inside the Vanity and only goes inside the Accesory slot. And armor in vanity is using 2 Slots (Armor and Hat)

I Cant use my vanity items on the Vanity Slots... im trying use the Elf ears, and it only being Equip in the Accesory Slot, not vanity.
Also, where is the Hide Bottom? to hide accesory? i dont like runing around with the Shackles...

how to summon bosses without triggers like the Queen bee, using the example of the eye of Cthulhu

by grimoire use ui i mean bit where grimoire shows up as an extra yellow square on far right of the hot bar, not the part where you are choosing the animal.

did not see anything in controls or tutorial to exit out from using the managerie grimoire. tried everything i could think of, even put the grimoire in a chest, but was still stuck in the grimoire use ui, could not use weapons or abilities or even tools like pick axe. had to relog to get out of that ui. is this a bug or am i missing something obvious on getting out of that lol

Friends, help, I don't understand with the King of Slugs. Where can I get a cartographer's table, where can I put the map?

There seems to be a really weird bug where if you're in Journey mode and you click the stats button, it enables increased placement range.

@GabeHasWon thanks, but you really might want to alter the requirements for the quest.. it feels bad to be forced into either playing with no class, or with another class if you want to play as a mage until after beating a boss and dealing with an event.. maybe have the book be dropped by the goblin scout that spawns on the outer edge of the normal world as a first step, then have some lore tie in to lead you to fight the king slime before the goblins come back for revenge

also maybe a dialog bubble from an npc saying you can craft a map device with iron/lead (i did take wood to the guide, assuming wood would be an ingredient for it, but i apparently didnt think to try iron)

@✚ nIX There was a broken room in Skeletron's domain. It is fixed as of 0.2.7. Also mediumcore is a miserable experience, you will always lose all of your items in domains. Whoops!

@Tears of Asariel Map Device is some iron at an anvil iirc, super simple recipe. You don't need to break a heart/orb for the Goblin Surveyor to spawn, just beat King Slime.

@Nakimushi There's about 12 rooms in the Skeletron domain, placed randomly. You'll have to be more specific.

I too would like to be clued in on how to do skeletron's domain, tried all the switches in varying combos and nothing happens

also axolotl, how exactly do i get the special goblin to appear? the wiki says i need to have killed the king slime, have 200+ hp, break a heart/orb and not currently have an invasion going on.. i have a map to fight the king slime, but it says i need a map device, and the wiki says to create a map device i need to beat the WOF.. i dont see a map device anywhere in town, and when i try to break a heart/orb it says i dont think i should do this yet and it wont break?

im having an issue with the grimoire, i cant 'un select' the current summon (Bee) and its only showing me the components that i have to summon the bee, even though i have other components (its like its filtering them out because i have the bee selected, so its showing only bee related materials) am i just stupid or is something glitching?

@the_king_chicken you can find a special goblin in ravencrest (the first town) and killing him spawns a goblin army

I have no idea what to do in the Skeletron dungeon, tried flicking all wall switches but nothing, except for one that just turns off lights. Ended up dying thinking I could just respawn back to main world but instead lost all my items through mediumcore.

Do some skills not have augment trees at the moment? Clicking Fireball doesn't open up an augment interface like Nova does.
