"Realism" is a slippery slope, and a very vague term

You could always create a pull request to allow crouching to work next to a bush, even if the setting is disabled

Either way, checking the length of each blade of grass every iteration simply isn't possible or feasible (and wouldn't account for grass settings, either)

not very realistic. 'hidden' when I was crouching even in very short grass. So I turn off the 'hidden when crouch' option and then its the exteme opposite - you can crouch inside a bush and you can still be seen.

@silence Re: HATG adding dark Vignette
With further testing and research I was able to find a console command that can be executed to entirely remove the Default Arma 3 Fatigue Vignette--when used on non-modded Arma3 that will entirely remove the darkened corners; when used when HATG is activated it reduces the darkness of the corners by 50%--meaning HATG is likely somehow duplicating the default Fatigue Vignette in its UI. Hopefully this is helpful! Thanks again for all your hard work. If you are interested the console command is the following:

What am I doing wrong? I've been testing my MP mission on my local server and it feels like the mod doesn't work. AI still shoot through the grass and trees.

We're running this on an Exile Server and everytime a player crouches to initiate stealth, they are kicked and their client crashes.

Hello, I have a suggestion if you're still updating the mod.
Right now there's a setting where you can disable the effect when crouching. Can we have a separate setting where you can disable hiding when crouching ONLY when wearing non-ghillie vests?

others have mentioned this but its seems that the invisible wall blocks flashlights and lasers, also sometimes its gets in the way of AI's ability to use certain weapons like lock-on AT

not a huge deal since now there is an option to switch it on and off but letting u know

Ok i did comment before that i cant get hud text/image to show up but now after fiddling around i did, im on 1920x1080 monitor, playing with large hud and found that Y value set to .50 sets the UI just perfectly at the top so i hope this helps anyone trying to set UI in place

Seconding the issue @UsingController encountered, interactions sometimes stop working and disabling the mod with its keybind does not fix them.
Tried both on default settings and with the simple blocking object.
Seems disabling "Enable Hiding In Buildings" fixed my issues with this mod. :jake::steamthumbsup:

One single big issue:

The mirror should get disabled when you get in a vehicle for these exact reasons
Also it isn't attached to AI not in your group

Are you using a different GUI size/scale?
"AI mirror" keeps causing issues whenever playing custom missions. Be it AI helicopters never land, AI tank gunners don't shoot targets infront of them, AI don't move or can't pathfind, etc.

I have a problem in Antistasi Ultimate.
I can't interact with objects or AI:

So if an ai it's inside a building it's hidden right? That's why I can't interact, only if I disable the option to be hidden inside buildings then I can interact, the same happens if an ai or object like box are on grass. Not always happens tho, it's weird.
So reviving ai laying on grass it's imposible, I had to move around that ai and spam to be able to revive or when the officer it's inside a building I had to disable an option to interact with it :(

Good mod tho, it's just an issue I have.

the UI doesnt work for me in any way, shape or form. Ive tried reinstalling, ive tried debug mode, I tried moving the UI coordinates around, changing the games UI size, playing on both server and singleplayer it just wont show up. The mod itself works, the box spawns just fine as seen in debug mode but the UI just doesnt show :C

Great mod, out of curiosity is there any chance you could look into some more night time stuff? I feel like if anyone could solve how easily ai can see you at night time it would be you, should be able to move around pretty freely unless they have night vision or its a high illumination night, save crouching everywhere even in the dark of night.

Hey @Silence, just wanted to say your mod is awesome man. You've effectively created a stealth option where there was not one before and that is pretty impressive, I hope you're proud! I run it on a server I manage and it helps combat the ai's god-like detection. It's been a (virtual) life saver!

apparently with ace3 backblast enabled, this mod tends to cause the firer to blow himself up with his own backblast. i tested this mod and ACSTG, and when "hidden" or active, this mod causes you to blow yourself up. meanwhile, without the mod loaded, it doesn't happen.

i think it's related to the fact that you're surrounded by objects, which makes ace think that you're in a room, which means the backblast should be redirected to you.

if you can't be bothered to fix it, maybe list it down as a potential incompatibility?

Great mod but recently, I have been facing a weird issue. The mod works as intended when I have the debug mode on and I can get considerably closer to the enemy after tweaking some settings, however, as soon as I turn off the debug mode the enemy AI detect me normally as if this mod was not installed. I don't have any mods that alter AI behaviour installed. I have tried testing things with only CBA and this mod enabled but even then the mod is working as intended only when the debug mode is enabled. Any help would be appreciated.

Upon further investigation, it's not adding a Vignette, but intensifying and darkening an existing Vignette that must be part of the vanilla Stamina/Fatigue system that is normally on the edge of perceptibility. When HATG is not enabled in the modlist this Vignette reduces in darkness significantly and returns to normal values. @b0s screenshot demonstrates it at the added level of darkness. I was running at 1440p but it also visible at 1080p. I will try to get screenshots when able.
