If the <Holdable> tag in XML of any other mod is written in such a way that specified slots have a space after the , (comma) then the whole EquipItems menu for the plugin breaks.
What I mean by this is that the plugin WILL read this:
<Holdable slots="RightHand,LeftHand,Any"
but it can't read this:
<Holdable slots="RightHand, LeftHand, Any"

amazing mod but yeah, same as the previous guy. Bots can play the other instruments with no problem except for the engineer with the guitar

I have been using this mod for my new campaign this patch and is amazing, but I have a small problem, my engineer won't use the guitar for some reason, he just picks it up for a second and drops it again. Any idea why this may be happening? It works well for the captain and the harmonica.

The edit load out button doesn't seem to be working, it tries to load for a sec then nothing.

did some digging and it seems when i have BaroTraumatic/Creatures mod enabled it causes this issue, removing it solves the problem.

I am quite curious to try this mod once I finally finish my first vanilla campaign. I will give tons of awards for sure. The description is great, will make my next journey a lot easier and less time consuming. (Also, less stressfull). What an incredible work... I will come back here to give some feedback, once that day of next campaign arrives.

Any chance we could get a Baroverhaul patch? It adds a couple of instrument playing talents and it seems that you have to manually order the bots to perform them. Also, is there any way to make the perform order persist beyond each mission? It seems to go away when the sub docks to an outpost.

when I try to edit loadouts, pressing the button doesn't change anything and now further windows pop up. Any fixes?

Not sure if its a result of baroverhaul guns or this, but never before have I been more pissed at the game from the gunner bots just staring blankly through their guns at incoming enemies that they can see, have ammo and power to shoot at, and are in the firing line of. Even when using base coilguns they did this, and it's only happened after installing this mod

the only 2 mods that i have that change something are Dynamic Europa and More Outposts for Europa, btw the game lag only in city tipe outpost

@[TLP] lucazz'tuoi Well that's not good. Is there any module in particular that you've found causes lag? Most of the mod's effects should only target your crew, but there are a few things that I extended to other NPCs as well (such as the ladder fix).

@Karkis That's really weird, but I'm glad it worked out, even if I don't know what the issue was lol.

@Pixadon Please make sure you have Lua for Barotrauma installed, as mentioned by @ChicagoKiller.

@Mr cai I'm sorry I'm not sure what you mean. The option that mutes bots is disabled by default, so if you enabled this then make sure you disable it again if that's your issue.

@shoolgate You mean the vanilla order, right? Waypoints outside a submarine are something I haven't figured out yet but some people have suggested similar things so I'll try to look into this.

@Sharchon Unfortunately no, but that would be really useful to have. I might look into adding something if it's possible/within my ability.

@Tollonen @Kartiplus Sorry about this! I had some stuff enabled that made it so that the Crew Loadout (and options config in general) was a lot more stable for me than it was for you guys, however I've since fixed that in 1.7.1. Please let me know if you still have this issue!

Not sure if this mod works at all? Running with LuaForBarotrauma, cs is enabled in settings; when I toggle orders in mod settings, it gets untoggled when i close the settings window, and no orders appear in the middle click menu. Also when I click on the crew loadout edit button, nothing shows up.

I'm seeing this error in F3 debug when I load just lua and SmarterBots: CL LUA ERROR (pathname to Lua/SBAI/Client/guiUtil.lua); cannot access field SBAI_hasTag of userdata<Barotrauma.ItemPrefab>

Does this mod add any capability for bots to move things on the ship that don't have a direct cleanup order? I.E is there a way for me to tell the bots to store used empty canister railgun shells in the fabricator/near it to be recycled?

Removed all my mods except lua, performace fix and this mod, and it still doesnt work but it showed me an error, not sure if it's related to the mod but here it is.

@Karkls If other Lua mods are working then the installation should be fine, but there may be an incompatible mod for whatever reason. Have you tries just running Smarter Bot AI" without any other mods? The lack of any console output is really strange.

The latest update your referring to is for my mod (1.6.5), right? If that's the case I genuinely have no idea what's going on, since I've been running that update without any errors since it came out a few days ago. If there's a chance you could post some of the console errors in the Bug Reports discussion I'll definitely take a look. It may also not be a bad idea to reset the mod configuration as well if it could be an issue with that. You can do this by going to your Barotrauma Save folder and deleting the SBAI.json file in the ModConfigs folder. The full path for me is C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\ModConfigs\SBAI.json

Yeah having issues with the latest update, seems like assistants and other bots are trying to use items or their respective talents and it's throwing red errors, I've deleted the mod and reinstalled this, and even reinstalled client side lua as well. This mod is also at the top of the list.

I can't get the mod to work, the mod menu and everything else just doesnt appear. All my other lua mods work and i dont see any errors about the mod having issues. The mod appears in the mod list, i tried reinstalling it and it still doesnt work.

This mod is serverside except for the "Orders" module and the in-game configuration menu. I'd imagine the "Orders" module is what's adding it to your save (since some orders get saved) and I'm not sure if it adds it regardless of if you have that module on or not, since it does still load the custom order .xml files.

Please make sure you've fully installed Lua for Barotrauma, there's a few more steps that need to be done that are described on their workshop page. It's a bit different than a typical workshop mod install. Also, load order generally shouldn't matter with my mod, so no need to worry about it.
