Is the category of those Research Journals = "Literature"? May I suggest to change it to something else, because I think the item sorting mods have them spawning in areas where "literature" spawns meaning normal book shelves and book cases.

If you're referring to adding items needed for extraction, you can open the .lua file located in the "3312248752 - media - lua - share" folder and add the values for the items you want to include at the bottom. Also, make sure to update the translation file with the new items you’ve added.

If you want to change and apply coordinate values, open the .lua file in the "server" folder and modify the coordinates at the bottom. However, I cannot guarantee that the modified coordinates will be applied in multiplayer mode.

can you add a more detailed description on how to access the mod file to add the sub mod to extraction mod quest? I tried browsing through the game files trying to find the workshop mod file in order to try and play it with my friend in a multiplayer server. Would greatly appreciate any feedback.

it is normal for books not to spawn in areas such as bookstores or libraries when the spawn value is set to 0. It seems that another mod might be causing the spawning issue.

When I tested it in single-player, there were no issues; however, to be safe, I recommend making a backup before proceeding in case any unexpected problems arise.

Thank you for the great feedback! I also considered making it with only vanilla maps, but it was hard to find challenging locations other than Louisville and the prison, so I went with modded maps. I'll test out the idea of making it a rare drop from zombies, and if it seems like a good fit, I'll update it in the future. Thanks again!

It is generated randomly based on the maximum value. If both the minimum and maximum values are set to 0, it will not be generated.

I also considered adding more to the vanilla map, but I couldn’t think of any locations that would be particularly challenging beyond the ones I've already added.
