In developer mode, clicking on "Mods" will show the specific problem.
Yeah, this has never worked with Multiplayer even with Compat as far as we had it (I don't remember how it was broken since it was a long ago), so we've just used the vanilla mod manager alongside Workshop collections and the vanilla modlist.
^ Like @Mlie said, this should be reported to the Mp devs. I admit I never bothered.
^ I just now ran separate searches `3306654341` & `mod manager` on the Mp organization on GitHub and a RegEx `3306654341|mod manager` on the compat spreadsheet, but nothing was found either way (only irrelevant results on GitHub), so this doesn't seem to be known to them, unless that info is on Discord.

I utilize this mod pretty much all the time as well, but I'll keep using vanilla if that means it relieves some pressure off the developer. Most mod devs are pretty much doing this in their free time without any sort of compensation.
I'm partly in agreement with KawwaK, as well, due to the convenience it provides.
