In my server the weather changes twice a month. Summer Chernarus and Early Winter Chernarus. When I change from Early Winter to Summer Chernarus it keeps snowing. How can I change this to rain again? Thank you.

Is there any Json file? im using cold chernarus and i need to make them work together.

@-=OSOK}-PROPAIN this's a problem on your server side. You need to reinstall it correctly for example in your server manager and check that all pbos are installed correctly and the same as in the mod

my users have always problems to load the mod, they get always a failure message with destroyed structures from some pbos

I did it as you said and it worked. However, the fog is a bit of a problem if I configure the weather and leave it without fog and rain, then I have to leave it enabled 1 or not?

I understand, so I put enable 0 and reset 1 after the restart is done I put enable 1 correct?

@Mistério wrong. You dont need to configure it, so firstly you need to disable weather from this file by setting enable to 0 and reset server currenlty weather by turning it on reset to 1, then return it to 0 after restart. thats all

I want it to snow without storms and rain. My CFG is like this:
<weather reset="0" enable="1">, is this wrong?

@Mistério you don’t need to change cfgweather if you want only snow. Just set reset 1 enable 0 in that file, restart server, than set reset 0 (if you need it to save the weather after server restarts) and restart again

I need help with CfWeather, it's not configuring, there's a storm and rain, and I want it to only snow. Will I need a mode for that?

Can we recommend adding the white bushes found in namalsk ? they are so reactive to the weather and snow storms it would make the map very dynamic and beautiful!

Hey cynep is there a way to edit the world temperatures to make them colder? i had the cold winter mod added and it was good, but when i added your Early Winter the temperatures rose and became not dangerous anymore. lol

@ФИКСирую ПРИБЫЛЬ думаю да, если ты про cfgweather.xml. Его надо включить, enable поставив на 1 и есть отдельный параметр snowfall. Но как настроить чтобы шел меньше не знаю. Ну и если что в закрепе выше есть метод как сделать чтобы и дождь и снег был

Спасибо. задам еще 1 вопрос, а чтобы сделать меньше снега, я должен крутить стандартный файл с погодой в папке миссии? если да, то там снег прописан, как дождь, или именно как снег?
т.е что мне надо поменять, чтобы было почаще солнечно и небольшой снежок?

@Streatman I think it won't work like you want, because if you load on server only chernarus mod, without Livonia, but at the same time you required an "snow_weatherLivonia" addon from Livonia, the players will get an error like you don't have the livonia mod. Therefore, you will either have to not make Sakhal clouds on one of the maps and override f.e only cherno, or still try this way: make 2 overrides and pack them into different pbos in your modpack. Anyway I won't make names the same because players got errors when pbo was named the same when server using both mods. I don't know how common it was, but it happened

i want to have the sakhal skybox. for that i need to override your config, so i need to call your addon in required addons.
in your chernarus mod, your addon is called "snow_weather" and on your livonia mod, it is called "snow_weatherLivonia". i can not call both addons, because i will always just have one of those addons on the server. best would be to name them both "snow_weather" since a server is not going to have both mods in use at the same time, right? that allowes me to mod both with one mod while only having one of them on the server.

@Streatman Hi. I made different names of pbo and classes in configs because people got errors when used my both mods on other maps. Tbh I don't understand what you want to do with weather, because in snow_weather pbo in configs you can only change sounds, cloud settings and rain to snow script. Livonia has the same. Do you load both mods on other map? Tell me what exactly you want to change in weather. Maybe this can be done with cfgweather.xml or with init.c

We have both chernarus and a livonia server if it is unclear why i am requesting that. If its not an option for you, let me know, then i will have to upload 2 versions myself... I would just prefer not to and ask you for this qol change.

I have a request for both your early winter mods.
I want to mod the weather on our servers when they have early winter. For that i need to place your weather pbo into the required addons. But the addon name of early winter chernarus and livonia are different. Could you give them both the same name please? No server will have both on at the same time and it allows us to mod both versions without having to upload 2 different mods ourself.

There is noone better in DayZ mod developing than Russians. Prove me wrong and I will turn into a frog! Thank you brother!

Also could it be that your (ground/foliage) textures are missing mipmaps?
They flicker in some distance which indicates the lack of mipmaps.
No mipmaps cause visual artifacts and bad performance.

I don't get why forest areas got the most snow, in reality it's quite the opposite as the trees block the most snow from reaching the ground. It's also warmer in forests.

Your mod is crashing clients. Just a heads up.
