I really want to run on this but for some reasons, the foliage pack is said to be retired and the ts academy classic as well, so as a direct result, no trees are loaded. Is it fixeable?

I did a full run of this route and it's pretty good. The portions of the route with scenery look really nice. I hope this route is still being worked on and updated, because it will look great once it's finished!

Thank you for the information, @railcharger05. Just please be careful about advertising on other people's content pages, especially when you were not given permission. I don't want you to get in trouble with other developers.

Check out my new route Illinois HSR Lincoln to Springfield. My route features amtrak lincoln service trains that reach high speeds. Please rate it so I can make it final and publish the scenarios for it. As Palpatine says: DO IT!

This is sad. Would've really loved to see a completed version of this.

If this ever gets updated in the future, I took a trip up north recently on this section and it looks like all the signals are now Trilights (which are in the NJCL route), with the exception of some in Boston & dwarf signals.
No idea if this will help, but if it doesn't get updated ever again, bummer - but thanks for making this! Really enjoy it.

Is this project still being developed? It would be a super addition to TS.

Hang on, I need to message you about an issue with the asset packs
Train538  [author] Jul 4, 2019 @ 8:26pm
Definitely see if you have all the required DLCs. If you do, definitely delete the route from your game and redownload.
Zero The RC Salesman Jul 4, 2019 @ 8:09pm
I figure it must be because I need the US asset pack.
Zero The RC Salesman Jul 3, 2019 @ 8:31am
Hey, I can't seem to see multiple stations? Lots of SLE station platforms are missing, same for Back Bay, Ruggles, South Station. Should I redownload?
Train538  [author] Sep 18, 2018 @ 11:51am
Anthony, although this route has not been updated in some time, I recommend deleting the route, then let Steam reinstall it. Let me know what happens.
j.w.helfrich Sep 18, 2018 @ 11:29am
the MBTA Haverhill line would also be awsome!

Hello, i just wanted to say that there is a spot of track just north of Kingston, RI @ Kingston International where the track disappears out of no where and my train slams into the ground and derails, I was hoping someone could take a look and try to fix the problem if they can. Thanks!

Good Luck Man! I feel the same battle with the BSRR - Three Years in the making and then DTG puts us all on the deprecation list when they moved over to the U4 Engine.

The editor is a joy in itself! booo AS for me I am also tired of all the DTG bugs that we constantly have to re-work. Case in point all the default catenary!

And NOW all the catenary from Old Saybrook river bridge (old lyme side) to West Haven has been ripped out and is being restrung at that Pantograph 'kiss' height, including New Haven Station and ALL the Yards!

Thanks, keep up the awesome job Sir!

Best,
~SQK

You can certainly create scenarios for the route, but until the route is completed, you won't be able to publish them to the Workshop. You can still share the files, though.
snowden98 Jan 17, 2017 @ 6:48am
Is there any way to create scenarios for this route? I know in the past it was possible but it seems like now it's next to impossible.
Train538  [author] Jan 4, 2017 @ 12:03pm
Only a few people have offered to work on scenery, so not much has been done. Scenery takes a LONG time to get it right.
Kyle Jan 1, 2017 @ 10:41am
Why is there areas with no scenery?
Thundxr_ Oct 24, 2016 @ 7:00pm
I LOVE the route. Just remember to add more scenery to make it look more realistic. This helps when you see parts of the route like the Greenbush/Old Colony Lines turn off the corridor. Don't show the end of the line. Add the scenery to make it look like it continues running to Plymouth or wherever. Also I would recommend copying the New Haven section of the NYNH route. This way you can have the NYNH New Haven Station, and keep the scenery and assets with it. So you don't show the end of the line. Pretend it continues all the way to New York and Washington. Good luck, and happy driving :)

So the announcement means you wanna move the project to the new game(Train Sim World)?Cuz DTG seems to mean that TS series will continue to use original TSX engine?
Bob_Robert Oct 8, 2016 @ 2:59pm
for some reason, I tried that and it didnt work. Any other ideas or special settings i need to have enabled?
Bob_Robert Oct 8, 2016 @ 2:29pm
Thx man. always helpful
Train538  [author] Oct 8, 2016 @ 1:08pm
dbright975, you know those boxy yellow arrows that point at each other at one end of those yellow lines after selecting where you want to offset? For the arrow/side you want the platform to spawn on, press left CTRL and left click to move it to face outward. Then the platform should spawn in correctly.
Bob_Robert Oct 8, 2016 @ 7:13am
Whenever I use the offset tool to create a platform, the yellow warning strip always appears on the wrong side, no matter which platform i use. how do i fix this?
ylij174 Oct 2, 2016 @ 4:23pm
having proper route. You need to add the houses and trees with bridges. here to help https://youtu.be/3MhQ-K_muoM

маршрут хооший. Нужно добавить домов и деревьев с мостами. вот в помощь https://youtu.be/3MhQ-K_muoM Рекомендую , качайте маршрут не пожалете.
Mr._Headshot  [author] Sep 18, 2016 @ 1:11pm
Development on that has been halted as far as I know
Bob_Robert Sep 17, 2016 @ 7:28pm
How is the keystone corridor I see listed on the NEC website going?
Mr._Headshot  [author] Sep 11, 2016 @ 3:46pm
Autodesk 3dsMax
Bob_Robert Sep 9, 2016 @ 5:58pm
what program do you use to create your own models?
Bob_Robert Sep 9, 2016 @ 5:26pm
ok
Mr._Headshot  [author] Sep 9, 2016 @ 5:18pm
Not possible without importing your own model.
Bob_Robert Sep 6, 2016 @ 5:03pm
Do you know if it is possible to take a route station sign and just change the letters on ot or do you have to create a totally new object, and if so, how do you do that?
Mr._Headshot  [author] Sep 4, 2016 @ 5:59pm
I may start a UE4 version when TS World comes out.
Mr_Matt Sep 4, 2016 @ 5:58pm
Since there is no backwars compatability for the UE4 version, I'm guessing that this is the final version of the route and you won't update it/make a UE4 version?
Train538  [author] Sep 2, 2016 @ 7:23pm
dbright975, offset both types of third rail at 1.380 units. With ATC and ACSES, understand that their purposes in real life and RailWorks differ in some ways.
Bob_Robert Sep 2, 2016 @ 3:18pm
And do you think it is worth the time and effort to set up in cab signalling, but with just ATC and not ACSES (Metro North M8)
Bob_Robert Sep 1, 2016 @ 4:55am
k. thx
Mr._Headshot  [author] Sep 1, 2016 @ 4:37am
In Object Tools > Track Infrastructure there are Speed Limit signs. Place them on the track right where the speed limit changes. Modify the angle of the sign so its facing the direction of an oncoming train (very important that it is facing the correct direction). Then hide it under the track.
Bob_Robert Aug 31, 2016 @ 5:45pm
when you are setting speed limits for a route, how do you make them show up on the HUD and not just change without warning?
Bob_Robert Aug 29, 2016 @ 4:46pm
Soooooo true!
Mr._Headshot  [author] Aug 29, 2016 @ 3:38pm
That's what I already do. I know the tricks =) The point is that I shouldn't have to use any tricks
Bob_Robert Aug 29, 2016 @ 3:30pm
if one of the issues you are referring to is that when you save the route, it crashes the game, my solution is to just save more often with smaller amounts of change because saving a lot of changes at a time often crashes the game. Just a suggestion :)
Mr._Headshot  [author] Aug 29, 2016 @ 1:52pm
ANNOUNCEMENT: This project is being put on-hold until the following conditions are met:

1) The route editor tools no longer crash the game, are more efficient, and are more functional (particularly the gradient and easments tools).

2) Existing routes can be carried over to the Unreal Engine 4 version of the game that is probably set to come out sometime next year.

If these conditions are not satisfied via patches for either TS2016 or TS2017, then I will wait till either the Unreal Engine 4 version of the simulator is released OR a better simulator from a different company is released.

I have been though a lot of crap with this editor and feel like I am fighting a constant battle with it. As such, development isn't enjoyable. If my current work can't be carried over to the UE4 version of the game, then my time is mostly wasted.

I want a great platform to develop on and that's what I am ultimately waiting for.
Mr._Headshot  [author] Aug 29, 2016 @ 1:47pm
I do not know the exact offset for the third rail, but if you experiment a little bit in the route editor, I'm sure you can find a value that works well. As for the speed limits, I get them from the official Amtrak Employee Timetable. Note: this isn't a document you can get on their website or anything...but you can find some older versions on Google.
Bob_Robert Aug 27, 2016 @ 5:58pm
And also, how do you find out the speed limits for this route?
