Awesome mod, could you maybe add Plant Oil from the Nanohana mod defName="PlantOil" and Tallow from Epochs - Tallow defName="DV_Tallow". Would be much appreciated i think.

1.0.6 - more defensive checks, should hopefully resolve many issues.

Thank you so much!

1.0.5 - fix to issue with fueled processors
TurtleShroom Oct 24 @ 10:00am
I can confirm the error with the Medieval Overhaul Mod on my end. It causes all VFE Processors to fail when you select multiple instances of the same processor, AND it causes an error every time a Pawn tries to load something into it. I'll file a detailed bug report soon.

I was just wondering if there is a way to request mods to be continued, the Material Filter mod for example?

Dub's works for me. Remember the passive cooler water is a toggle. The yellow warning doesn't hurt anything, pawns still fill the cooler when it's set to water.

Is this going to be patched for Dubs Bad Hygiene?
moo Jul 12 @ 8:47pm
Hi. As expected, this is breaking DBH passive coolers refuelling with water
moo Jul 9 @ 9:07am
Did this mod get patched for DBH yet? No notes...

This doesn't place Coal/Charcoal from Expanded Materials - Metals to the fuel filter of any wood powered ARC from Vanilla Quests Expanded - The Generator

So I'm getting a yellow warning from this mod:
LWM.FuelFilter: Could not find any allowed fuels for PassiveCooler4034638; this is probably a mistake on someone's part (maybe not mine)

Since I have Dub's Bad Hygiene's setting to make passive coolers use water from that mod, which removes the fuel need/option from the base game passive cooler, that's likely the cause.

I'm in touch with the 1.5 Medieval Overhaul author, we should have full compatibility between the two restored soon (currently shows multiple fuel tabs, as MO has its own fuel filter).

Updated: Copy/paste functionality. Enjoy!
TeH_Dav Feb 18 @ 3:44am
Would it be possible to request a feature;
A "copy" feature similar to storage that allows you to copy your fuel filter settings between fuelable items. Maybe even something that allows said items to be linked like storage to create fuel groups.

As someone who mostly plays in tribal playthroughs, torches are essential - but also terrible. Manually setting every torch to only except certain things the first time I notice a pawn using a very rare/valuable resource to rekindle a torch is a massive headache, as sometimes I have dozens of torches. Being able to copy settings, mass-select my torches, then paste the settings, would be an absolute godsend.

only partially works with VQE: The Generator :(
stops accepting coal once you hit wood powered

Thanks for the report, my apologies, I left my logging active. Just pushed an update.

Hello, @Zaljerem. Thank you for reviving this mod. Could you please remove the message spam in the log? They are only white messages, but I have more than 50 and it is makes difficult to track real errors.

i really dont know why mods allow you to use coal as fuel, but dont integrate a fuelfilter with it... i have 18k coal and barely any wood (desert map) and yet they only use coal if i am out of wood...
The Bard of Hearts Oct 23, 2024 @ 12:49pm
@ Zaljerem awesome! Thanks for the mod work you do. Is the patch just integrated or do I have to sub to it seperately?
Zaljerem  [author] Oct 23, 2024 @ 6:39am
[WD] Simple Coal (Continued) updated, and I tested it against this mod. Seems to work. I will try to check into defaults and MO compatibility soon.
Zaljerem  [author] Oct 23, 2024 @ 6:23am
I'm testing a patch right now for [WD] Simple Coal (Continued) that should only apply Coal as a fuel for wood-burning, nothing else.

Regarding MO, I'll probably need to whip up a specific patch for it.
The Bard of Hearts Oct 22, 2024 @ 10:15pm
Bumping my last comment. I really don't want to have to take this mod off, but I can't see myself playing without coal at this point either.
Zairya Oct 13, 2024 @ 12:15am
I checked your patch for woodLog -> woody and what medieval overhaul does. It's pretty much gibberish to me but if I read it corectly, MO replaces woodLog with their coal, making your patch not work... Could you check again?
Zairya Oct 12, 2024 @ 11:53am
Could someone point me to the configuring menu? I'm blind... I'm really annoyed at the limited fuels for MO's stuff and wanted to add some compatibility with this.

Thank you in advance
The Bard of Hearts Oct 2, 2024 @ 11:59pm
Hello. And thanks for the mod work. I was kinda hoping you'd be able to make this fully compatible with "[WD] Simple Coal (Continued)". It adds a mine-able material, coal, that is suppose to act as a replacement for wood-burning various wood-burning things.

However, as it stands, coal can be used for ANYTHING. whether it is supposed to be allowed or not, coal is always on the fuel list. I'm not really much of a code monkey myself, so here's hoping you can help. Thanks again, either way.
Rents_Due Jul 19, 2024 @ 11:27am
Thanks for bringing this back. one request I had with the old mod as well. Can you set the default to select only wood/ wood log on initial placement. The current default still selects everything as fuel.
Enlonwhite Jul 14, 2024 @ 10:29pm
oh thank goodness, this is back!
TurtleShroom Jul 13, 2024 @ 2:34pm
I LOVE YOU!
