I still disagree with any of the changes to the cost or science. We are talking about a platform and a ladder in 1! While I understand people wanna completely skip stairs, unless you disagree, you have to download another mod to change the costs. I think the current costs are balanced as to not be too overpowered and decently easily to get too.

sidebar: can you change Science to 150, so I don't need the broken Ladder JSON mod?

I am sure than playing on the "Beverome" map without Ladder must be a nightmare ^^
Anyways that is only possible to build a sub-marine mine on this map with Ladder .

this mod is so good. I cant decide if its outright cheating its so powerful :D

@wawababy try forcing an update by verifying game files.

Update should be live, fixed the issue on 1.0 and also the backwards compatibility issues.

(it's the 3286476486 directory inside there)

Anyone looking for an interim fix, you can restore the old one if you have previous versions enabled in windows.

visit C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1062090
right click
select previous versions and you can roll it back

If steam updates the game/workshop item again, you will of course lose it

Hi! I'm getting a crash with the new update to v3.0.5 on U7. None of my other mods were updated and the stacktrace shows an error for the Ladder mod. I hope you can fix it :).

Game is now crashing with the 3.0.5 version of the mod when loading a save using 3.0.4

Not works for me, i had a save file with 3.0.4. and if i start with 3.0.5 it crash

Just quick information, I am aware of the update and am updating the modding environment. Maybe I have the time to finish quickly.

Hey, there is another ladder in the workshop now. Can you check that one out if it's legit and the coppyright and stuff isn't broken? If not it should be reported.
It does not need Harmony so it might be legit, but I really don't know.

This is the best mod ever! It makes multilevel structures so much easier to make and it cleans up the platform nightmare requires to get to the top of a cliff!

@geof4321 - i think you miss the whole point of the game. besides, if you dislike the way ladders work, no one is forcing you to use this mod.

I think ladder should be nerf: Beavers that carrying items should not be able to use it.

i have also just seen the same issue with the beavers getting stuck. i do not think it was because they were building inside the ladder, more like the other side of the ladder {by a couple of squares}. beavers definitely get stuck. clearing the path helped release them though, so thanks for that marra.

Some beavers get stuck on ladders. I've noticed it happening when they try to build dynamites on the edge of the level above. They get stuck between building it from inside the ladder, or going up the ladder and finishing the building. Removing paths from under and over the ladder solves the issue, but you gotta notice it before te beaver dies. Also happens with bots.

An essential that should be included/copied to the base game.

If I place path at the bottom of the ladder and behind the ladder, beaver can cross the ladder, but the paths are not connected. Once I remove the path at the bottom, if the beaver has no other way to bypass this ladder, it will get lost. Is this a feature or a bug?

Yes it is, I've never had any problems with ladders.
