compatibility with Biomes! Caverns' "Stable Overhead Mountain" would be nice! i believe it lacks the collapse mechanic (or at least has a significantly higher support radius than normal overhead mountain, i'm not sure) but it's treated the same way by this mod

Doesn't seem to work like it used to. They seem to think almost every other block is going to cause a roof collapse

@Dizzy Colony mechs should now be included correctly
Dizzy Dec 25, 2024 @ 3:08pm
for anyone else who needs to know this: "enable for non-colonists" needs to be ticked in order for player-controlled mechanoids to check for roofs when mining/deconstructing, without it they'll simply allow roof collapses like in vanilla

I dont have many other mods either: Replace stuff, harmony, Common sense, Pick up and haul, interaction bubbles
CptZhu Dec 22, 2024 @ 12:06am
this mod doesn't work, my pawn was deconscructing a monument and got his head smashed in by multiple roofs!!!
Chip Dec 9, 2024 @ 3:35pm
Deroofing feels like it's done very inefficiently, but I guess it's better than nothing.

When I use the mod in 1.5, I can't remove or package any building, maybe it conflicts with other mods? but I don't see any message about this mod in debug log.
There is too many mods in my list, so I just tested and found out that the bug comes from this mod, unable to find other conflicting mods. :(

Anyway, thanks this mod before.

Hi used this with Dubs Mint Menus + Medieval Overhaul, I ran into the problem where bills are disappearing, removing Dubs Mint Menus or this mod resolved it. Any chance to look into what might caused it?
Mlie  [author] Sep 21, 2024 @ 7:35am
@CptZhu It should, at least that is what the description says
CptZhu Sep 21, 2024 @ 7:32am
@Mlie so i can safely mine and the pawns will deroof? so they dont get killed? I hate deroofing manually all the time. will this mod fix that?
CptZhu Sep 21, 2024 @ 12:14am
thanks!
Mlie  [author] Sep 21, 2024 @ 12:13am
@CptZhu Its already a mod-option
CptZhu Sep 21, 2024 @ 12:11am
I wish you can remove the option of turning on remove mountain roof, as I only want the QoL, not change the mechanics
Sarus Sep 18, 2024 @ 7:53am
Apologies im terrible at structuring words right, Its basically if you designate a large area to be mined out, and as the mining approaches the roof collapse risk, and theres many tiles it deems unsafe, then it begins mass notification for every one as the mining continues, that viewing the message log for it is filled with it

Edit: would be easier to show a screenshot, would explain far better than my unintelligible rambling lol
Mlie  [author] Sep 17, 2024 @ 7:33am
@Sarus Not sure what messages you are referring to?
Sarus Sep 17, 2024 @ 6:44am
Is there a way to limit the amount of messages it makes about cannot mine/deconstruct? if it happened to be a large designated area it absolutely floods the message log about it

Please be aware of gift card scamming, tricked peoples accounts will add you, then they will say quote on quote "You have won a 50$ Gift card" Or anything of that, then they will send you a link, when you click it, it will say its a steam website but you wont be logged in, when you log into the "Steam" Website, they will have your info because its not actually an official steam website, please be aware and dont add people you dont know and dont click links!

ikit_claw yes-yes Jul 18, 2024 @ 2:52pm
for some reason the bots from DMS dont work with this mod they just say F it and let the roof fall on them dont know if thats with all bots tho since i havent done a mechanator before.
Mlie you are a literal deity. Thanks for everything you do and have done.
Everytime I see a (Continued) after a title I get slightly happier. Thanks! :LIS_pixel_heart:

@/H/eavener #FixTF2. "smarter deconstruction and resumable work progress became incompatible". Got same problem when installed "resumable work progress"

For some reason in my modlist this mod causes all pawns just stand still and look in general direction of the targeted structure whenever they try to deconstruct anything. Their path isn't even calculated and its just a straight line between pawn and the target.

@Hobo in Kmart Removed the auto-set fully, not sure why it should be there from the start
Hobo in Kmart Jun 23, 2024 @ 3:32pm
Please change it back, or make it so the setting remains persistent. it's annoying that I have to tick off "remove mountain tile" every time, when I don't even have a mod that allows me to remove thick roofs. My mountain base is all messed up now.
Mlie  [author] Jun 17, 2024 @ 12:22pm
@Dedelblute3 Yes, hence why I changed it to true
Dedelblute3 Jun 17, 2024 @ 12:20pm
What's odd is that I had two separate mods that allowed removing of thick roof, so I was very confused about it auto turning off (despite the indications otherwise)
Mlie  [author] Jun 17, 2024 @ 12:07pm
@Dedelblute3 Changed that to true when a mod that allows it is loaded. Seems like a better solution
Dedelblute3 Jun 14, 2024 @ 10:29am
The "Remove thick roof" setting auto sets itself to false every time the game starts. Is this intentional or a bug?
LarsSvengard Jun 6, 2024 @ 8:47pm
there is a new Re coming out today ya just gotta go to recent soonish
ShyGuySpirit Jun 6, 2024 @ 2:31pm
Oh nice. Thanks for all your hard work. I wasn't expecting a fix, since I didn't provide any logs, but thanks none the less.
Mlie  [author] Jun 6, 2024 @ 11:55am
@ShyGuySpirit Fixed the Raise the Roof compatibility
Kerosyn Jun 6, 2024 @ 9:34am
legend, thank you. this was the only mod left in my list that I was unsure about, and I can hardly live without it
Brooks Jun 5, 2024 @ 11:25pm
Thank you!!!
ShyGuySpirit Jun 5, 2024 @ 1:03pm
I notice there are some errors when I add this to my game. Looks to be conflicting with Raise the Roof 1.5. with overhead mountain removal.

I'm not too worried about the error, but I just wanted to let you know.
